Casa Arboleda Sayalonga

This sunny holiday home (100M2 is located on 3200 M2 of private land) with swimming pool 6.5 x 3.5 meters is located in the south of Spain, where the sun shines on average 300 days a year and offers a wonderful holiday every season. The house has 2 bedrooms and is suitable for a couple or small family.

Through a short sloping asphalted private driveway you drive up and you see the casa with swimming pool. Inside is a seating area with a comfortable lounge sofa. There is an open kitchen with all necessities but without a dishwasher. There is also a dining table with 4 chairs and there is a spacious hall with 2 separate bedrooms. All rooms, both inside and outside, have good Wi-Fi coverage and there is a TV with Dutch channels. In July 2022, the master bedroom was renovated with a 2-pp bed of 1.80 by 2.00 meters. This room is ensuite with simple shower, toilet and sink and has 2 windows with shutters and mosquito nets. The other room has 2 beds of 90 x 2.00 meters that can be pushed together with a simple bathroom in the hallway (bath, sink, toilet and bidet) see photo and 1 window with 2 shutters and mosquito net. All rooms have air conditioning (which heat or cool) and the price includes GLW.

We apply all hygiene measures and you will find a very clean house. Upon arrival there is a Dutch speaking keyholder and we are available during the stay and will be in contact with local staff in Spain if there are any questions.

Discover the beautiful mountainous area "the Axarquia" only 50 km drive from the modern airport of Malaga and 12 km from the coast. The Axarquia is known for its beautiful nature and views over almond and olive trees and vineyards and the white villages (Pueblo's blancos) such as Arenas, Corumbela, Archez, Canillas de Albaida, Sayalonga, Competa, Torrox. Here, hospitality and helpfulness are of paramount importance and you will immediately feel at home in the authentic Spanish environment.

For those who love simplicity and the honest way of life and appreciate it after a hectic and busy time in the homeland and want to unwind. The nearest grocery shop with fresh bread is a 10-minute uphill walk (3 min by car), from there you have a beautiful view of the sea. There is a free shopping service at home.

Combine relaxing, hiking in the mountains and for the sporty racing bike and visit cities such as Malaga. From here, take the (speed) train to Cordoba (1.20 hours), Granada (1.10 hours) and Seville (2 hours). From Madrid you can reach the center of Malaga in just 2.20 hours with the AVE and from there you can take the metro to the airport, where the car rental is. The bus also runs regularly (especially in the early, high and late season) and the tickets are affordable.

The car ride with beautiful views is an adventurous holiday in itself, pass the white villages and combine this ride with a drink and snack at the many small-scale coastal villages, such as Caletta, Torre del Mar (18 km), Rincon de La Victoria (30 km) or Nerja en Maro (35 km) and the beautiful Cantarrijan near La Herradura.

An ideal holiday for young and old who are good on their feet and can walk slopes and stairs in villages, lovers of nature, tranquility and authenticity. A dip in the private pool, or teenagers who want to relax by the pool and love peace and quiet or want to spend a day shopping in Malaga (car 60 min) with its many large shops and OUTLET centers around or take the (speed) train to cities. For more adventure see the Zipline adventure at El Chorro near Caminito del Rey, or near Comares, for water lovers a sailing catamaran trip near Malaga or Torre del Mar. A sea kayak tour or supping at Nerja with more water activities, such as parasailing or plan a trip through a small-scale organization agency nearby. Because of often not yet touristy spots, you have to take into account that you make plans and make bookings in advance prior to the holiday. E-bikes or road bikes can be delivered to the Casa under certain conditions (min. number of days), where experience is a requirement. And there are horseback riding opportunities in the rugged mountains.

Reading a book in the shade, lazing in the sun, surrounded by nature with beautiful views. You can hear a goat bleating or a donkey braying and watching over the terrain near the village. An idyllic setting, where time has stood still and you can completely relax, through the simplicity, nature and the lack of large-scale tourism. Because the house is on one level, you can go straight from your bed, under the outdoor shower and into the swimming pool.
