In the middle of the nature and culture of Málaga, Córdoba, Granada and Seville lies our Casa de los Arboles. Cultural trips, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, water sports, it's all possible here. It's a place to unwind and find new inspiration. In the sun on the terrace with private pool and in the evening the starry sky of the milky way or on a terrace in one of the many white authentic villages and towns in the area. Naturally, you will also feel the joy of life: the alegría of the southerners.
From Malaga airport it is an hour's drive to our house; Mostly on the highway and the last piece of asphalted back road. We rent out our detached house for two to seven people. It is spacious and comfortable and suitable for all seasons. Everything you need in your holiday is there. At the rear of the house is a large terrace with swimming pool, outdoor shower, sun loungers and a dining table. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the hills with olives and fruit and nut trees. At the front there is a terrace with grape vines. There is room for the large dining table made of old construction wood.
The house is comfortable in all seasons. It has three bedrooms with air conditioning (cooling and heating), a well-equipped kitchen with a pellet stove and utility room, a living room with air conditioning & a wood-burning fireplace and a bathroom. For the summer there are cotton sheets and 'blankets' made of cotton waffle cloth and for the winter woolen blankets and down duvets. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet and sink. Linen and beach towels are provided and can be used at no extra cost. That also applies to the washing machine at the casita across the street. All bedrooms have mosquito nets and a fan. We can place an extra bed and there is a baby cot. The windows have Spanish 'bars' so you can open the windows with peace of mind. In the living room there are travel guides and brochures for activities and sights in the wider area. There are games and books, including novels that are set in our part of Spain. Our casa is located on a quiet asphalted road with private parking for cars. Next to the terrace is an outbuilding with a fire pit for BBQ or making paella.
Our house is located some distance from neighbors in a neighboring town of Cruz de Algaida, near Iznájar, a white village on a rock on the largest lake in Andalusia. There you will also find water sports on the beach and nice chiringuitos to have a drink. Casa de los Arboles is a great base for people who want to visit the typical Spanish-Moorish cultural heritage combined with whether or not they enjoy nature or a day at the beach.
