Beautiful villa with modern caves in the middle of nature, with wellness and indoor and outdoor swimming pool
Casa rural for 20 people in Galera, in the province of Granada, Andalucia.

Spectacular villa with two swimming pools, three saunas and a jacuzzi, plus ten double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. There are 3 extra cots and 3 cots available.

Of the ten bedrooms, seven are on the ground floor. These bedrooms, which are caves that have a constant temperature between 18 and 21 degrees all year round, are connected to the main house, which has two floors. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms and on the first floor there is a bedroom (these last 3 are air-conditioned).

On the ground floor there are also two general toilets and a fully equipped luxury kitchen, with a climate fridge for wines and cavas, two ovens and a dishwasher. It is large enough to cook for 20 people. The kitchen has a bar overlooking the living room and a large dining table. 

Through the four-meter-wide sliding glass doors you enter the veranda with sitting area and dining table, where you can sit in the shade and enjoy the fantastic view. The property also has two cozy lounges with fireplaces for warmth and atmosphere in winter.

The house has two swimming pools; an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, which are heated by means of a heat pump that allows the temperature to be raised to 32 degrees, although this always depends on the ambient temperature.

The outdoor pool is available from April to October, while the indoor pool is available all year round. There is also a spa! In the caves, in addition to the heated indoor pool, there is a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna and a steam room. In addition, outside the house there is a barrel sauna and a jacuzzi.

The house has its own well that pumps water directly from the ground. It also has pellet stoves and solar panels that provide electricity and hot water to the villa.

We are private, but not isolated. This way you can enjoy the real Andalusian life. For example, we are in the middle of the real tapas culture. You get a (free) tapa with every drink you order (beer price 2-2.50 euros). That way you can really enjoy the many different terraces of the bars and restaurants in the area.

We are at your disposal to help you with whatever you need: food/drinks (catering), decoration, activities, etc.

We also have experience in organizing events and activities. For example, catered lunch/dinners, setting up events/parties, organizing activities, and we have many contacts in the area. So if you are looking for more than overnight stays, we can/will arrange that for you.

We also do small weddings and corporate events for up to 100 people. Everything is possible, so ask us about the possibilities.

For the catering, we work together with various chefs from the area. We offer from traditional Spanish (tapas) meals and paellas to Asian nights, pizza parties or BBQs. We can send you a list of our standard options and prices. You can mix, delete, or add anything. Everything we do is tailor-made.
And as mentioned before, if you want to do activities, we can also help you organize that. From wine tasting in a bodega, to a flamenco workshop or yoga workshop on the terrace or walking in nature. Many historical and cultural visits are also possible.

Finally, the weather in the south of Spain is of course very nice between March and October. The summers are hot with us, but we live at altitude, so the nights and the morning are cool. Sometimes the differences between day and night are as much as 20 degrees. There is no high humidity. In addition, part of our house is a cave, which has a natural cooling in the summer. Most bedrooms are there, so you can also sleep well in the summer (without air conditioning).

In winter you will not be bored in Casa Lua. We have a spa in house with heated pool, 3 saunas, steam room and the jacuzzi outside. The house has a good heating system, a lovely fireplace and the "comedor" space is also nice to do things. Besides of course the long light days with sun!
