The house is a short distance from the cozy white village of Cómpeta, which you can reach in about 25 minutes on foot or in just 5 minutes by car. In the village you will find atmospheric streets, cozy terraces, local restaurants and shops, and you can taste the authentic Andalusian atmosphere. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the square, eat tapas or take a stroll through the charming streets.
The area is characterized by impressive mountains, vast views and a typical Andalusian landscape with almond, avocado, mango and olive trees. The nearby Sierras of Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park nature reserve is great for hiking and cycling. The beautiful village of Frigiliana, known as one of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia, is also a short drive away and is definitely worth a visit. Within about 30 minutes you can reach the beaches of the Costa del Sol, while cities such as Nerja and Málaga are perfect for a day out full of culture, shops and restaurants.
