Completely unwind in our charming finca with large swimming pool, spacious outdoor lounge and kitchen and beautiful views of La Maroma and Sierra Nevada.
In short: back to the essence...nature, sun, zen and friendship. 
In the middle of the hills of the Axarquía, a beautiful region just north of Malaga lies our house: Finca Essenza.
We had the old finca refurbished by a local contractor who works with people from the region and with authentic Spanish materials, into a nice and spacious holiday home. The house is a great place to relax with your friends or family by the pool and enjoy the beautiful view of La Maroma . In the morning you walk to the village for a delicious cup of coffee on a terrace and to get a fresh bread.
From the house you are in the middle of bustling Malaga within half an hour, rent a bike and explore the city in this special way with its many historical sights, nice terraces, tasty restaurants and beautiful shops. Or you can choose to spend a day visiting beautiful Granada with its medieval Moorish palace, the Alhambra.
Do you like an adventure? Then walk El Camenito del Rey, a super experience! And if you're tired of all those sights, your chef can ask Leon to prepare a delicious meal for you at home. Or you can order a pizza in the village.

Interior: 
On the ground floor you will find an attractive living room nicely furnished with a sofa, various easy chairs and a spacious dining area. There is also a fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the spacious kitchen, which is fully equipped. Here is a dining table, oven, 5 burner gas stove, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, hand blender, very spacious fridge with a freezer compartment and a large amount of crockery, pans and cutlery. 
Furthermore, on the ground floor there is a hall with 3 bedrooms for 2 people adjacent. As well as a shared bathroom for bedrooms 2 and 3 with 2 sinks, a walk-in shower and toilet. Master bedroom: 2 person four-poster bed (180 x 200), private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Bedroom 2: 2 single beds 80 x 200 Bedroom 3: 2 single beds 90 x 200

Casita 1:
The casita is a detached double house (approx. 16 m2) in the courtyard. There is a bedroom with a
Double bed of 180 X 200. A bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The casita has its own terrace.
Casita 2:
This casita is located under the terrace of the swimming pool. It is about 30 m2 and consists of a sitting and sleeping area with a double bed of 180 X 200. A bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. It has a spacious private terrace. 
The casitas are not rented separately. Depending on the number of people you want to spend your holiday with, you can use the casitas.
Additional amenities: 
Air conditioners in the living room and in all bedrooms for cool nights in the warm Spanish summer and warmth in the colder (winter) periods. There is a meter on the air conditioning and the consumption of this is charged separately. There is WiFi in and around the house, a washing machine and tumble dryer, several cozy outdoor seating areas and various sunbeds. Extra: right next to the pool is a large covered outdoor lounge and kitchen with large gas BBQ. Here you can chill and eat outside. 

Children
The pool is not fenced, so this house is best suited for children who already have a swimming certificate

Swimming pool
The swimming pool is 8 x 4 meters in size and can be heated on request at an additional cost

Garden: 
There is a lovely courtyard garden with citrus and fig trees, cypresses and bamboo. Freedom and tranquility! 
Directly at the house you will find a large terrace, part of which is covered in the summer against the heat. The terrace has a beautiful view over the green mountains with olive trees of the Axarquía with the Sierra Nevada in the distance. You are completely free to sit at the lovely swimming pool which is in the sun all day. Here are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas to relax. 
There is also a ping-pong table and a pétanque court.

Terrain
The whole property is fenced.

Extra services:
Daan & Ed, our Dutch speaking hostess and hostess will welcome you upon arrival at Finca Essenza. They will show you the house and the garden. Because they live in the area, they can tell you all about it. If you don't want to leave but still want to be pampered for an evening, our chef at home Léon can prepare a delicious dinner with products from the region at home!

Durable:
We had 10 solar panels installed.

Environment:
There are countless opportunities to do something for a day in the area. Whether you want to visit a historic town, a day at the seaside, or just want to take a nice walk, it's all possible.
