Casa Cartarra in Axarquia
Casa Cartarra is a lovely detached holiday home with a spacious private swimming pool (10 x 4 m) located in the area of Axarquia. In the Axarquia region, there are many small, white villages, the so-called 'pueblos blancos', which are beautifully situated between and on the hills planted with vines. The Dutch owners have furnished this holiday home in a modern and very stylish way with plenty of comfort. Here you will experience plenty of privacy and enjoy unique views. From your terrace you have a panoramic view and in the evening you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The ideal combination of peace and space while you can look for the hustle and bustle.
A supermarket is just a 7-minute drive away and the lovely sandy beach of Torre del Mar is a 15-minute drive from Casa Cartarra. During your stay, be sure to visit the white picturesque village of Comares, a 35-minute drive from Casa Cartarra. The village is quite high, at more than 700 m. Because it is built on a rock, you have a magnificent view. On clear days you can even see the Mediterranean Sea. A beautiful walking route has been mapped out in the village, just follow the blue tiles and you will pass all the beautiful places.
Inside Casa Cartarra
This holiday home is perfect for families or befriended couples. Casa Cartarra is wonderfully spacious and equipped with plenty of luxury and comfort. There is even a real workplace for 2 people with two sit/stand desks and 1 large monitor. This in combination with excellent wifi also makes Casa Cartarra perfect for a workation. The living room is light and spacious and equipped with a beautiful sitting area, dining area and television on which you can play your own streaming services. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 5-burner hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, two ovens, hand blender, juicer, toaster, kettle and coffee maker Cups (Nespresso/Dolce Gusto).
There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (180 x 220 cm), terrace and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has two single beds (90 x 200 cm). Bedroom 3 has a double bed (180 x 200), terrace and ensuite bathroom. There are three bathrooms all with separate shower, toilet, hair dryer and sink. Two bathrooms also have a bath with a hand shower. There is also a separate toilet in Casa Cartarra. For the children there is a dartboard and there are various board and card games available. The living room, kitchen and all bedrooms have air conditioning. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets. The holiday home can be heated by the fireplace and air conditioning (hot and cold). There is also a safe as well as a washing machine, ironing board and iron.
The Outdoors of Casa Cartarra
The outdoors of Casa Cartarra is perfect. This holiday home has a fenced property and a lot of privacy. Splash in the spacious private swimming pool (10 x 4 m) or enjoy the panoramic view from your own lounge set. On the terrace there are six sunbeds and an outdoor shower. The parasol and covered veranda provide cooling on hot summer days. There is also a mobile gas barbecue for outdoor cooking. There is room for four (rental) cars on the site.
From the village of Canillas de Aceituno (10 minutes from Casa Cartarra) there is a beautiful walk to make. That is the "El Saltillo", with the famous bridge. But there are many more beautiful walks to do, which is why there is a book in Casa Cartarra from 'Zot van Wandelen' with 18 walks in the region.

Details
- Minimum stay 7 nights in July and August and 4 nights the rest of the year.
- Arrival and departure possible every day of the week. The booking must be in line with previous/subsequent bookings and otherwise there must be a minimum of 7 nights between bookings. Ask us about the possibilities.
