If you go from the apartment in the direction of Nerja, it is definitely worth it, because the first seaside resort at only 5 minutes that you come across is Torre Del Mar. Very touristic seaside resort where there is always something going on. Many shops, large boulevard, many restaurants and in the summer funfair + many evening stalls. There is a very large market there on Thursday, definitely do it! Further on you will come across Caleta de Vélez, there is also a very cool market on Saturdays with many local ingredients available. Then we pass Algarrobo with a very pleasant boulevard. A little further on Torrox Costa, where there is a very nice market on Mondays, but where you should definitely eat at the Brazilian (meat spits a volonté for a bargain price with lettuce, rice and sauces, not to be missed! A few km further you come then on to Nerja...: A shopper's paradise with maze-like streets, a regular market on Tuesday, the flea market on Sunday... What you should definitely do there is eat Paella on the “Burriana beach” a volonté for a bargain price. Nerja are "the caves of Nerja" and of course the "Balcon d'Europe". Distance from apartment to Nerja is about 25 km. To the left of Torre Del Mar is Vélez Malaga. There you have a large shopping center called "El Ingenio". Upstairs there is a gigantic pasta bar where you can eat & drink freely for 4 hours at a price of about € 11/pp. Opposite the shopping center there is also a water amusement park located: “Aquavelis”, ideal for spending some time with the children. you have so much more several beautiful mountain villages, which are definitely worth a visit ... eg. “Frigiliana” voted the most beautiful mountain village in the region! The easy thing is that you can always choose whether you go via the highway (is fastest) or you choose to keep it more fun via the N340 (along the coast). Or by bike ... You can then cycle from boulevard to boulevard ... very cool to do! Or for the sports enthusiasts among us: into the mountains by mountain bike! All you really need is a car...
