Very easy to reach (just a 60 minute drive from Rome International Airport Porto or from Vigo - Spain - airport and only 50 minutes drive from Porto International Airport) this villa is absolutely centrally located: just 2 km away (15 minutes walk) from The sandy beaches of Caminha - from the train station you can go to Vigo in Spain or south to the historic center of Viana do Castelo - and 2.5 km from the ancient Roman town of Caminha (with several good restaurants, cafes, bars, lively promenades and open-air promenades around the Minho River waterfront) and 35 km from the beautiful old historic town of Viana do Castelo, famous for its ancient monuments and long sandy beaches. Basic amenities such as a mini market, shops, restaurants etc can be found within a 20 minute walk. Nowadays Caminha has much friendlier relations with its neighbor and there is a daily ferry connecting the two banks of the river. On a small island in the middle of the estuary are the ruins of the fortress of Ínsua, built to defend the entrance to the river in the fifteenth century. There are other several sandy beaches within a short drive. This villa is fully air-conditioned.

Laundry room and parking space.The sands of Vila Praia de Âncora (10 minutes from the villa) extend from the fishing port to the Âncora River which reaches the coast here after a descent of 15 kilometers through the hills of Serra de Arga, a attractive natural environment with some good walking conditions. This huge beach experiences some strong Atlantic waves, which means high quality surfing. This city is also known for the variety of good seafood and fresh fish restaurants.
