This beautiful villa, located in a privileged position, underwent a long and careful renovation aimed at preserving its ancient character and implementing all the modern facilities required today. A lot of attention is paid to the decoration, furniture and facilities. The villa will be equipped with every possible comfort to ensure that a stay in this villa will be an unforgettable experience.

We are working to create a warm and friendly atmosphere so that you as a tenant will experience a 'home' feeling. The construction of this magnificent villa is the result of years of research into the positive energy of objects, colors, greenery and space! The property is constructed from wood and terracotta floors, there is air conditioning throughout the villa, a Turkish steam bath; wonderful to use with aromatherapy oils. Beautician and/or massage services can be booked in advance and paid for locally. There is also a heated private swimming pool. Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own bathroom with shower.

Villa: the open kitchen/living room has a large wooden table. The kitchen is very well equipped (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, large hob and oven, blender, kettle, toaster, 2 coffee machines, wine glasses, all types of pans, etc.) and also includes a particularly pleasant fireplace for the colder seasons. In the living room you will find a satellite television with DVD player and home cinema and a stereo system.

Outside: there is a large covered terrace with dining table just outside the kitchen. The terrace is comfortably furnished with easy chairs, lanterns, etc. The garden surrounding the villa offers wonderful relaxation options. There will be special sun loungers and hammocks and a barbecue. The garden will have a large playground with football goals, volleyball and badminton nets. You will also appreciate the beautiful view from the granite-edged swimming pool. You can make the most of the sun, the house faces south and catches sunshine from sunrise to the beautiful sunsets.

However, the heat is not a problem at this location, even at the height of summer: a gentle breeze cools this hilltop location in the late afternoon. Very comfortable sun loungers are spread around the pool, along with an outdoor shower. The salt water pool is 10 x 4.5 meters and has a depth of 1 to 1.9 meters. The pool has an electric cover, which also works as children's protection. There is also a useful utility room with washing machine, ironing board and iron. The amazing views over the Coura River valley - where it is possible to fish for trout and other fish species - and the Minho countryside with its Romanesque churches and spectacular 16th century villages, can be reached within a 25 minute drive. This includes the villages of Ponte de Lima, Caminha, Valença and Arcos de Valdevez (Portugal's National Park).

The sandy beaches of Caminha are ideal for families with children. Simple and easy to reach (only 1h20 drive from Porto International Airport and 1 hour from Vigo Airport - in Spain), the villa enjoys an absolutely central location in the unspoilt Minho region just 7km from Paredes de Coura , but is itself wonderfully surrounded by peace and privacy!
