The Internet is of course available, and within seven minutes you can walk to the ferry to Setúbal. Lisbon? That can only be reached within an hour.
Less than 5 minutes walking distance from the penthouse you will find the harbor, various restaurants and shops , a supermarket, a tennis/paddle court, football field, playground, etc.
Troia
Boat trips in search of dolphins, beaches as far as the eye can see, restaurants with fresh fish, terraces on the beach.
Take the ferry boat in Setúbal, cross the Sado River in 15 minutes and discover the Troia peninsula, less than an hour from Lisbon. Here you will find one of the most extensive sandy beaches in Portugal, with a length of 30 km, which you can enjoy with the whole family. Whether summer or winter, Troia's microclimate with its mild temperatures ensures days full of activities.
On Troia you can practice all kinds of water sports. This area has excellent conditions for windsurfing and sailing, as you can see from the occupation of the Marina de Troia.
You can rent a bike to make a nice trip. And if you're a culture lover, you should definitely visit the ancient Roman ruins of Cetobriga in the east.
Comporta
About a 15-minute drive from the apartment is the charming village of Comporta. The Comporta region has wonderful beaches, sand dunes, surf spots, authentic beach huts, forests with pine and cork oak trees, vineyards and not to forget the delicious Portuguese restaurants. Comporta beach is a 12-km long sandy beach, according to some one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. The nice thing about the beach and the place Comporta is that there are no high-rise buildings but simple fishermen's houses and trendy beach villas. And there are nice and trendy restaurants, where you can eat the most delicious fish dishes and seafood. Portuguese cuisine is simple but pure and very tasty!
Setubal
Setubal is definitely worth a visit. This town is a 15-minute boat ride from the Tróia Peninsula, and you can board with your car. The ferry crossing is an opportunity to admire the nature reserve of the Sado estuary, and if you are lucky you may even see dolphins. Setubal has a charming old quarter, an impressive fortress, the beautiful Church of Jesus (Convento de Jesus), a lively covered market and the best seafood restaurants in Portugal. It is also very famous in Portugal for its football club, the Vitória Setúbal Futebol Clube.
