Casa Vista Airosa – your home on the Óbidos Lagoon!
Imagine: you walk onto the terrace and there is the entire Lagoon of Óbidos at your feet, with rolling fields and a view that paints a different sunset every evening. Welcome to Casa Vista Airosa – a spacious, bright house that is perfect for a holiday with the whole family and grandparents, or for two befriended families together.
Sleep well – on all floors
- Downstairs: a bedroom with adjoining bathroom (ideal for those who want to climb fewer stairs).
- Upstairs: three beautiful bedrooms and two bathrooms.
- Cot and high chair are ready. All beds are made on arrival, with lovely pocket spring mattresses and fresh duvets (partly down). Towels and large beach towels are ready for you.
Cooking & Socializing
The closed kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge-freezer, espresso (Dolce Gusto), kettle, toaster... everything you need.
The living room feels like a cozy living room: large dining table for 8 people, a nice sofa, two nice armchairs, Dutch books and a cupboard full of board games. Of course there is fast wifi and a TV.
Outdoor living
- Private swimming pool with sunbeds, a large tilting parasol and a lounge set with thick cushions.
- Terrace off the kitchen with a large garden table for 8 and a barbecue – perfect for long evenings with a glass of wine and the sound of cicadas and an owl.
- In the storage room you will find a beach umbrella, two beach chairs, bucket and spade – ready for a day at the beach.
The village & its surroundings
Casa Vista Airosa is located on the outskirts of the friendly village of Sobral da Lagoa, in a small-scale condominium with only 5 houses. You just park in front of the door or on the communal grounds.
Within walking distance:
- The cute village shop/café for fresh rolls, fruit and a morning coffee (and you'll be supporting the locals at the same time – always nice!).
- Beautiful walks directly from the door into the (fruit) fields, or along the marked routes of the municipality.
There is always something to do for young and old
- Child-friendly lagoon beach of Foz do Arelho a 25-minute drive away (calm water and a large boulevard with ice cream shops and restaurants).
- Bom Sucesso and the surfing beaches of Baleal and Peniche for the more active.
- Golf courses 10–25 minutes away.
- Dinosaur park near Lourinhã, medieval Óbidos, monastery of Alcobaça, Caldas da Rainha, Nazaré... all within half an hour.
- Lisbon in less than an hour by car or bus from Óbidos.
And of course... You are also just allowed to do nothing at all. A book, a dip in the pool, a glass of cool vinho verde on the terrace, while the sun slowly sets. That is often the holiday that stays with you the longest.
