Very spacious bedroom on the 1st floor with a double bed, a comfortable sofa and a private bathroom and toilet. It has its own entrance via the outside staircase.
Casa do Serrador was built with traditional big stones. It has been fully restored. The big terrain surrounding the house guarantees a peaceful relaxing holiday. This is the perfect spot if you love nature and would like to make day trips to experience Portuguese culture.

The historic monastery Convento Cristo in Tomar. You can spend hours wandering and it offers beautiful views of Tomar and the surrounding area.
The large free area with olive trees, walnuts and other fruit trees around the house.
Agroal, were you can swim in the refreshing spring water. Maybe after a beautiful walk from Casa do Serrador. There is a restaurant and during summer there are some stalls with snacks and swimming gear. Buzzing and busy during august, but otherwise quiet and always beautiful.

Winter in central Portugal, a wonderful time for walking. Lots of sun during the day and cold at night, which makes for beautiful nature views in the morning.
Plenty of oranges at the holiday home in spring. Of course you can pick as much as you want as a guest.

Tomar, the historic town in the region, with a beautiful old center and the historic Templar Monastery Convento Cristo on top of the hill.

The aqueduct Pegoes, just north of Tomar, is walkable. A fantastic experience if you are not afraid of heights. Walking is at your own risk.
From July 2 to 10, 2023 Festa dos Tabuleiros in the historic city of Tomar. The festival is organized once every 4 years in the month of July. The city is then full of music, parades and decorated streets.
The Sunday market of neighboring village Chãos is small, but an authentic experience among the local residents. You go back 50 years in time!
Figs ripe and ready to pick. They are fully present in the autumn on the grounds of the holiday home.
