Foz do Arelho is a charming coastal village, located between the Atlantic Ocean and one of the most enchanting lagoons in western Portugal. It is the ideal place for those who love walking, cycling, surfing, sunbathing on extensive sandy beaches, playing golf or just relaxing with a drink while the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon. The cosy bars and restaurants create a wonderful atmosphere. Moreover, Foz do Arelho is the perfect base to explore the authentic Costa da Prata — the Portuguese Silver Coast.

Just an hour's drive from Lisbon and two hours from Porto, this less-touristy region offers a mix of breathtaking nature and rich culture. 7 km away is Caldas da Rainha, a pleasant center city on a human scale with a typical Mediterranean charm. In the region you will discover picturesque villages, pristine beaches with dunes and rugged rocky coasts along the ocean. Those who venture inland will find historical treasures such as castles, monasteries, ruins and other impressive reminders of Portugal's rich past.

Our modern villa comfortably sleeps six adults across three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and a private terrace: both a downstairs pool terrace and one in the upstairs bedrooms — ideal for those who value privacy. Each room has built-in wardrobes with ample storage space. Baby facilities, such as a baby cot, are also provided. Bed linen, towels and so on are provided.

The house is recently built and stylishly furnished with all modern comforts. The open kitchen is modern and fully equipped. In the separate utility room you will find a washing machine and a dryer. Outside, there is a complete barbecue installation for convivial cooking moments.

On the sunny terrace surrounding the heated swimming pool, you can relax on the sun loungers or dine together in the open air.

The villa has internet access in every room. Depending on the season, you can enjoy air conditioning throughout the house or the gas fireplace in the living room with dining and sitting area.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our friendly housekeepers, Mario or Anabela. Local shops such as a grocery store and butcher can be found within walking distance. For larger groceries, you can quickly drive to E.Leclerc, Lidl, Aldi, Mercadona and many more. And within walking distance (1.5 to 2 km) is the fantastic beach of Foz do Arelho, with its impressive lagoon — a true paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers.
