The timber cottage is located in a small village in Northern Portugal. Surrounded by nature, it is the ideal place to rest, relax and contemplate what nature has to offer.

In this area there are ideal places for hiking, such as Serra da Arga, the Pincho waterfalls, etc.

A 5-minute walk away is the Pereiro waterfall, where you can bathe in crystal-clear waters.

15 km from the coast, there are several magnificent beaches where you can take lessons in surfing, kite surfing, windsurfing and various sports related to the sea.

The local cuisine is excellent.

We are always available for any questions, information or suggestions for activities. Just ask us!

Born and bred in Porto city.

I work as a liaison officer with foreign football teams when they come to Portugal. Until the pandemic, I had my own local accommodation in the city of Porto, where I gained some experience in this area.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this to the host via email (even if this has already been communicated to the host by telephone, for example).

The host will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 59th and 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the renter only informs the host on the start date or during the rental period that they will not (or no longer) use the rented object, they remain liable for the full rental price

Just over 4 km from Timber cottage, in the middle of Serra d’Arga, lies one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the North of Portugal. We are talking about the idyllic Cascata do Pincho, the name by which the Ferida Má Cascades are known, a succession of waterfalls and paradisiacal lagoons formed by the crystal clear waters of the Âncora River.
