Casa dos Cisnes - Serra da Estrela

Casa dos Cisnes has been completely renovated and fully equipped, but still retains its rustic character. The rental price is completely all-in. This house offers a luxurious stay with excellent privacy and is a wonderful base to all kinds of special places in the area. It is the only inhabited house in the street and you can park right in front of the door. It is located on the outskirts of the village and you have views over the fields, on one side the Mondego valley and the Serra de Caramulo and on the other side the Serra da Estrela.

On the 1st floor there is a living room with a well-equipped open kitchen and on the 2nd floor a separate toilet room, a large luxury bathroom with a double shower, double sink and bath, and 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. In the living room there is a 2-person sofa bed. There is also a 1-person folding bed that can be added on request and there is a baby/toddler cot available. You can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace, or in the evening a good glass of Portuguese wine and a beautiful starry sky.

In the summer you can relax on one of the many river beaches or mountain lakes, in the winter you can ski on the Torre, the highest point of the Serra da Estrela. The Serra da Estrela has been declared a World Glacier Park. It is a true paradise for hikers, nature lovers, birdwatchers and mountain bikers. In the area you can visit castles, museums and nice local shops. The gastronomy is of unprecedented class and usually still very authentic. Your pet is also welcome on request.
