The cottage is very nicely situated, surrounded by olive trees and with beautiful views over green mountains with terraces that were originally built and used for the cultivation of all kinds of crops by the original self-sufficient inhabitants. Wild boars are sometimes spotted. Tap water is delicious and comes straight from a spring in the mountain. Locally produced olive oil, wine, honey and agua ardente are available in nearby aldeia historica Piódão.

The house is completely newly built inside and consists of 1 large bedroom with king size bed and a modern ensuite bathroom with bath on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms on the first floor and a bathroom with shower cubicle. House is heated in winter by a cozy wood stove.

The house is for people who want to combine culture with nature and love hiking and tranquility. Ideal for people who want to go on long mountain walks or just want to sit by the wood stove with a good book.
In summer, there is a covered terrace for long lunches and dinners and a second terrace with sun loungers for sun lovers. Natural private pool with beautiful views and natural public pool 3 minutes by car or 10 minutes (downhill) walk. Three typical Portuguese restaurants 10 minutes by car. Various activities in the wider area (wine tasting, rafting, skiing, visiting villages).
