2-person apartment with private (covered) terrace in attractive mini resort with beautiful garden and large swimming pool. Centrally located in the Algarve, about 25 minutes west of Faro airport, a few km from the seaside resorts of Vilamoura and Loulé. This apartment has been completely renovated in 2022. Renting a car is recommended.
The apartment is located on the ground floor and has a view over the shared garden. There is a kitchenette with a 2-burner stove, fridge, microwave, a dining table and a sitting area with a television. Bathroom with shower, 2 sinks and toilet; bedroom with 2 bed.
Extra bed for an additional fee and possible on request, pets are also welcome for an additional fee.

Our daughter Marloes has been the owner of Casa do Alto since 2016, a beautiful mini resort with 3 ground floor apartments and 14 en-suite rooms. In the summer a fantastic place to enjoy the Algarve without being bothered by mass tourism. In winter ideal for a longer stay, then only the apartments are rented, based on accommodation (min. stay 4 nights).

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

SUMMER: the B&B is open from mid-April to mid-October, this apartment also has hotel service: reception/bar open from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks available. Daily cleaning, linen change every 3 days. Check-in is from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (later check-in can be done online with key box). Checkout is until 11:00 am.

WINTER: from mid-October to mid-April, the apartments are available as independent units and are considerably cheaper. Price based on accommodation for two people only, incl. linen, towels and bath towel and final cleaning. For stays from 2 weeks there is an interim cleaning, with linen change. We use an online check-in with key code.

If you want to stay with more people or receive guests, we also have the possibility to rent out the 2 person room with private bathroom and terrace or to place an extra bed in the living room.

If you bring a pet, there are extra costs involved, In the winter period € 35 per pet per week (max 2), in the summer period € 10 per night.

City tax not included: Nov-Mar > € 1 pppn; Apr-Oct > 2 pppn (Max 5 nights)

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

• Cancellation up to 90 days before the start of the rental period: free of charge

• Cancellation from 90 to 42 days before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price

• Cancellation from 42 to 28 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price

• Cancellation from 28 to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price

• Cancellation from 14 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

• If the tenant informs the landlord on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not use the rented property (anymore), the tenant remains obliged to pay the full rent.

The location is ideal for those seeking tranquility who enjoy walking or cycling, combined with reading a book by the beautiful, quiet swimming pool. The friendly staff of Casa do Alto can help you choose an excursion, but they can also show you the less tourist spots and your questions about sports, going out etc. Casa do Alto is located in the middle of the Algarve, between the airport and Albufeira in. Each are about 25 minutes away.
