Our cottage is compact, but cleverly laid out to offer you every comfort. After a day full of adventure, you will come home to a bright and cozy space. The living room is the perfect place to relax with a good book, and the well-equipped kitchenette invites you to prepare a delicious meal together. The house has fast wifi, perfect for digital nomads or to share your adventures with the home front. In the bedroom with a comfortable double bed, you wake up to the sun's rays. The bathroom is modern and fresh, and everything is provided to make your stay carefree. Everything is electric, so we don't use gas.
The ideal location
Raposeira is just a stone's throw away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, including Praia do Castelejo, Praia da Ingrina and Cordoama. These beaches are known for their stunning cliffs, clear waters, and fantastic surfing opportunities. From the cottage you can drive to the famous surf towns of Sagres and Vila do Bispo in a few minutes' drive. In Vila do Bispo, just 2 km away, you can rent bikes to explore the beautiful surroundings at your own pace. Here you will also find cozy restaurants, local markets and a relaxed atmosphere. But you don't always have to travel far to enjoy Portuguese culture. Get your daily essentials at the small, local supermarket in the village or buy your fish at the fishmonger who stops almost daily at the square to sell the freshly caught fish of the day. Here you will experience the authentic, slow life of the Algarve. If you feel like shopping or a night of dancing, you can be in Lagos in 20 minutes or in just 10 minutes in Praia da Luz.
In addition, our cottage is an excellent base for lovers of hiking and bird watching. It is located right on the famous hiking trails Rota Vicentina and Via Algarviana, which take you through breathtaking landscapes and along the rugged coastline. Also, this area is a birdwatcher's paradise, with unique species that can be found in the natural parks and along the coast.
