Mãe Home is the perfect place to relax completely! Enjoy the tropical gardens with a beautiful swimming pool, the many terraces both in the shade and in the sun with seating areas and dining tables for 'al fresco' dining, sunbathing, sitting or hanging in a hammock.
Mãe Home is a slightly elevated villa, at the end of a sandy path, so no traffic!
On the ground floor you have a cozy sitting-dining room with large sliding doors to a partly covered south-facing terrace with a dining table and the BBQ. The kitchen was completely renovated in 2022 and fully equipped. There are 2 bedrooms with a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
There is both an indoor and outdoor staircase to the 1st floor where the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower is located and you have access to a partially covered roof terrace with a seating area and beautiful views over land and the sea.
Enjoy the Jeu-de-boule court with a built-in seat where you can enjoy the beautiful views of land & sea and the setting sun while enjoying a glass of wine or a beer!

My name is Kaja Decoz and I have been living in Portugal since 1982. I once started a camping site, which was great fun. When the campsite was sold in 1989, I bought a small ruin that I renovated. My mother bought the land next to me in 1991 and built Mãe Home, roughly translated 'mother's home', with the aim of keeping the family together. And that worked out well! Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

* The rental prices include; 6% VAT, electricity, water, sheets, towels, kitchen towels and Channel Digital NL TV and MEO TV with internet.

* For stays of 2 or more weeks, a small cleaning with a change of sheets is included 1x p.w. Wash towels yourself. There is a washing machine.

* NOT included;

- Final cleaning at 125€,

-Tax

- Beach towels (these can be rented at 5€ per towel per stay),

- A deposit of 250€ must be paid 1 month before arrival together with the remainder of the rent and the final cleaning.

* For rentals in winter (from November 1st to April 1st) for one or more months, special LOW rates! Ask for a quote and conditions.

* For short bookings in the winter period (1 November to 1 April), the cost of pellets for the pellet burner is borne by the tenant.

* There must be at least 1 week or a maximum of 2 days between bookings. If that is not possible, please contact us before booking.

Villa Mae Home is located 4 miles north of the fishing town of Olhão at the end of a dirt road of 500m. Very quiet rural setting with beautiful views. The villa has a wide staircase that leads to a covered terrace on the north with built-in seating and a picnic table. Delightful place in the summer. There is a simple kitchen, spacious lounge-dining room with a fireplace for chilly winter evenings and patio doors to a large partially covered terrace facing south with table and seating. On the ground floor are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a 2-bed 2.1m, the other with 1-2x single beds and a bathroom with shower. There is an indoor and outdoor stairs to the 1st floor with a large bedroom with two XL 1-person beds 2.2m, an en-suite bathroom with bath and patio doors to a large partly covered terrace with stunning views over the country, the hills and the sea. Directly to the Garden Villa and many terraces with a wonderful 10 x 5m pool for much needed cooling in summer.

* If desired, you can use to supplement our daily maid service. Washing, ironing, making beds, shopping: it may give you all the work will be. * Babysitter on request to arrange. * For the cooler evenings in the autumn and winter, we will supply wood. * If necessary, children's furniture . * car? Give it to us and we will make. * Airport pick up? If previously indicated we will collect a reasonable fee.

Payment Terms: * Within 7 days of receipt of our confirmation of your reservation request you have 25% of the total rent down payment. Only after we have received your deposit, your reservation is complete. * 30 days before arrival, you are the remainder + 250 € security deposit due. The deposit will be refunded immediately after the villa was left in good condition. * In case of cancellation, no refund of the amounts paid. We advise you to make a cancellation insurance via D-reizen.nl. * The villa is rented for the maximum number of persons mentioned at booking. In case of violation may be denied access to the villa. * The arrival and departure in overleg.Door reservation you declare to agree with the above arrangements.

* Upon arrival you will be the owner handed the key and you will be familiarized with the house. * The house has extensive information available where you will find all the information necessary to maximize your holiday enjoyment. * During your stay garden and swimming pool fully catered. When staying for 2 weeks or more weeks 1x p.w. a linen change and cleaning included.
