Welcome to A Casa Solar!
A beautiful 4-person apartment in the Algarve, located on the 4* Oasis Parque in Portimão. This nice park has many facilities. There is a large outdoor pool with sun loungers and parasols, a separate children's pool, a leisure area with a spacious indoor pool and a hot tub. There are also 2 tennis courts, a playground for the smallest visitors and a cozy bar where you can eat and drink something. The complex is completely surrounded by beautiful, well-maintained gardens.

Our apartment has 3 balconies, 2 bedrooms with spacious closets, a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, cozy living room and separate, spacious kitchen fully equipped such as an oven and small microwave. Towels are provided in the apartment so you don't have to bring them with you! Only your bath towel for the pool or beach needs to be in the suitcase. You can use the washing machine in the apartment for small loads, the sun does the drying! There is also a smart television in the living room with Dutch, English, German and Portuguese channels. Wifi is also available in the apartment!

Location
Portimao is a port town with a cozy atmosphere, beautiful sandy beaches, a lively boulevard, nice restaurants and an authentic center. Here you will find everything you need for a relaxing, wonderful holiday. Portimao is located next to the pleasant Alvor (15 minutes) where you will find a beautiful, child-friendly wide sandy beach. From the beach you can walk straight to the small harbor in Alvor for a delicious lunch by the water! The larger towns of Albufeira and Praia da Rocha can both be reached within half an hour. In addition to cozy shops and many entertainment venues, this region is best known for its beautiful, numerous beaches and beautiful, sometimes red rock formations. Just a 5-minute drive from A Casa Solar you will find Continente, a large supermarket where you can get absolutely everything (fresh!). including an extensive drugstore. This way you will lack nothing!

Public transport
If you want to leave the car at home, you can use a very extensive public transport network. The bus stop to Portimão center stops at Oasis Parque, a 2-minute walk from A Casa Solar! You can find more information on various sites about 'public transport Algarve'.

Airports
From Faro airport you can reach Oasis Parque in 45 minutes. But the complex is also easily accessible from Lisbon. In about 2.5 hours you can drive an easily accessible, truly beautiful route from Lisbon airport to Oasis Park! Next to A Casa Solar there is a private car park where you can park your (rental) car free of charge.
