Casa Palmeira is located in the eastern Algarve, one kilometre outside the village of Moncarapacho, on the road to Estoi. Moncarapacho is 20 minutes away from Faro airport and the city of Faro.
Casa Palmeira is an authentic Portuguese quinta, consisting of two houses, Casa Camaleão and Casa Geco. There are several terraces with lots of privacy and a communal swimming pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
For a beautiful holiday in an oasis of peace and at the same time a short drive away from authentic villages and the beach, Casa Palmeira is the right place. Here you can enjoy the beautiful Algarve and the Portuguese atmosphere, just outside mass tourism. Here you can enjoy the Ria Formosa protected nature reserve and the islands with sandy beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, such as Ilha da Armona, Ilha da Culatra and Ilha da Fuzeta.
The town of Olhão is a 15-minute drive away, the city of Faro is 20 minutes.
Moncarapacho with shops, restaurants, bank and cozy terraces is 1 km from Casa Palmeira.
The cozy fishing village of Fuzeta with beach is a 10-minute drive away, here are also delicious restaurants and here is also a boat to the beach of "Ilha da Fuzeta".
The town of Tavira is a 25-minute drive away.
A trip to the Spanish villages and towns is also highly recommended.
The two semi-detached houses are located on a piece of land of 15,000 m2 with plenty of private space and several terraces and views of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the San Miguel (mountain) on the other. Apart from a refreshing dip in the pool you have plenty of space for recreation.
There is a washing machine in both houses so that you can stay here for a longer period of time with all amenities. There is fiber optic wifi so good fast internet, and for the winter there is a pellet stove for heating.
The swimming pool:
The pool is 8 by 4 meters, you enter the pool with a short staircase.
Depth of the pool increases from 1.40 to 2.50 mtr.
There are plenty of chairs and sunbeds at the pool to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun. There is also plenty of shade due to the beautiful olive tree next to the pool, the pool is shared with guests of the other house.
Casa Camaleão:
4-6 person house spread over 2 floors.
Property comprising; private terrace, kitchen (equipped with gas stove, coffee maker and kettle, cutlery & crockery are sufficiently available), living room, hall with wardrobe, bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and washing machine, 3 bedrooms. First bedroom adjacent to the living room with two single beds. On the first floor, accessible via the stone staircase; Landing with 140cm wide bed and baby cot and the second bedroom with a large double bed 160 cm wide. There are plenty of tidying options due to the presence of wardrobes and drawer units in the bedrooms.
The house also has a roof terrace.
Through the outdoor terrace you walk to the pool via a few steps.
The house has air conditioning in the living room and in the bedroom on the first floor.
