Casa Pura Vida is a beautiful and quietly located holiday home for 4-5 people near the coast and very centrally located in the Algarve. The house has been owned by Dutch owners since July 2018 and was completely redecorated. In 2023 we installed a new kitchen. The house is located on a botanical hill and has a beautiful panoramic view over the nature reserve (Salgados), the golden dunes and the blue ocean. The house has a fantastic roof terrace (60m2) with BBQ, dining tables, sunbeds and relax chairs. The roof terrace offers complete privacy and has sublime views. Next to the house is a cozy side terrace with dining table, under a tree and a beautiful view of the valley and a terrace with hammock under the trees with a view of the sea. The house is located on a small-scale, green and quiet Quinta da Saudade estate. Casa Pura Vida is the house at the end of the complex, high on the hill, in the green and far from the road. You can enjoy the peace and quiet, while still being very close to many sights.

Quinta da Saudade is an authentic former estate around a farm, where 25 holiday homes have been built on the hill. The Quinta is often rated as a unique place to enjoy and unwind. The holiday home is set in attractive gardens with many flowers, palm, almond, olive and orange trees. It is an oasis of peace with 2 beautiful swimming pools, a children's pool with a small playground, tennis court, mini golf, table tennis and petanque. The former farmhouse is now a good Portuguese restaurant with a very good price/quality ratio.
There is also a riding school (cavalosquintadasaudade.com on the site in the valley). The horses can be ridden through the nearby dunes and, if it is not crowded, on the beach. There are horses for beginners and experienced riders. For golf enthusiasts, the popular Salgados golf is only 1 km away. The extensive, golden beach Praia Grande de Pera is 800 m from the Quinta. The beach is about 3 km long from Galé to Armação de Pera, and even in the middle of summer there are large parts of the beach quiet. On part of the beach, nudist recreation is allowed for the enthusiasts. In the vicinity there are also numerous smaller beaches among the beautiful rock formations. The Quinta is 12 minutes from the old town of Albufeira and 45 minutes from Faro airport. While you stay in peace at the Quinta da Saudade, there is a lot to do in the vicinity. This is a great combination. Many guests come back often.
Casa Pura Vida has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has an excellent double bed. The other bedroom has excellent 2 single beds. The living room of 28 m2 has sliding door to the balcony. The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle and just outside the kitchen is a washing machine. The villa has air conditioners in the living room and in both bedrooms. The air conditioners are also heating in the winter and there is a wood burning stove. The house has its own high speed Wifi, Dutch TV, Smart TV (with youtube and Netflix for your own account), satellite TV with many European channels. The TV also has a Bluetooth audio system, which can be wirelessly connected to your mobile phone, tablet or laptop for playing your own music. There's also an HDMI cable for playback from your laptop. The holiday home is cleaned 2x a week and is equipped with bed linen, towels and tea towels. Bed linen is changed weekly. You only need to bring your own beach towels. In the months from October to March, the electricity and wood used will be charged. We want our guests to feel at home and have a pleasant stay in our house and at the Quinta. During your stay at the Quinta there are very helpful people for you at the office right in front of the old former farmhouse (now restaurant). Here you can go with all your questions about the house, about the Quinta or about activities in the area.
The changeover day is on Saturdays from the beginning of May to the end of October. This means that, in principle, bookings take place from Saturday to Saturday, i.e. whole weeks. In consultation, we may be able to be flexible.
