Palacio Ferragudo is located in the western part of the Algarve, on the cliffs of Ferragudo. It has fabulous views to the west over the bay of Lagos and Sagres and towards the setting sun. It has views over the tranquil waters of the Algarve coast where yachts and fishing boats make their way to the harbour.
In the distance there is a view over the Praia Rocha beach which is well known to the many visitors to the Algarve in Portugal.

Accommodation: 19 people, 9 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms
Palacio Ferragudo has been completely renovated and adapted to modern standards, including WIFI internet. There are 9 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, for 19 people, spread over three floors of the building.
The original furniture of the house has been restored and the rooms have been renovated in a modern style but maintaining the original beds that the family coats of arms still have.
Outside there are large terraces and a swimming pool overlooking the sea. A downstairs bar and toilet are available by the pool also with a pool shower.

Ground floor:
General salon overlooking the terrace and with sea views, has a beautiful grand piano.
Hall and cloakroom. Double doors to a private chapel.
Formal dining room with 8 seats on the main table, and another 8-10 on two round tables.
Breakfast room usually used for children's meals.
The terrace has a retractable sun awning and tables for outdoor dining, suitable for 16 people.
Music room with a CD player and comfortable chairs.
Kitchen
2 double bedrooms with en-suite shower/bath rooms. Sea views and doors to the terraces.
1 twin bedroom with en-suite shower/bath room. Sea views and doors to the terraces.
1 twin bedroom overlooking the garden and doors to a terrace overlooking the river.

Lower ground floor:
TV room. Bar, cloakroom.
1 bedroom with three single beds for children (narrow beds) with private bathroom and sitting area. Doors from the seating area to the pool terrace.
For groups of 10 people or less, only the ground floor can be used.

First floor:
1 twin bedroom with en-suite bath/shower rooms. Garden.
1 double bedroom with en-suite bath/shower rooms.
Folding beds sofa bed, suitable for young children only. Garden.
1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a sitting room and which leads to another twin bedroom. Sea views and doors leading out to a terrace.

- Hair dryers available in every bathroom
- Children's playroom in the former garage, with ping-pong table.
- Pool is 12.5 meters by 5 meters and the maximum depth is 1.40 m. It has a Roman staircase at the shallow end.
- Laundry room with two washing machines. Ironing room.
- 2 cots and 2 high chairs
- Elevator - the property has an elevator that can be turned on on arrival and departure (luggage) and turned off during the stay of clients, for safety reasons (children).
- No smoking
- WIFI internet access - available on request, at an additional cost per week fixed fee of 25 euros.
Staff: D. Regina, the housekeeper, arranges the cleaning of the house on weekdays and has been employed at the villa for over 25 years and was the princess's housekeeper until her death. There is also a gardener. Mr. Porfirio.- House cleaning on weekdays from 09:30 - 16:30 (D. Regina). D. Regina's primary duty is to keep the house clean and ensure the washing of the linens. All rooms, public areas and bathrooms are cleaned and tidy, once a day (weekdays).
- Gardener (Mr Porfirio) from 09:30 - 14:00, on weekdays. Pool and terraces are cleaned working days from 7:00 am to 8:00 am
- Meals D. Regina or her staff can prepare simple dinners on weekdays, with payment for the time. Pay costs for this directly to her. Customers must take care of the ingredients.
- Telephone: The house has an automatic internal telephone system with automatic recording of the cost of calls. Payment before departure, directly to D. Regina.

- Pool heating - solar heating available for an additional fee 
- Air conditioning: During the restoration of the house, it was judged that the air conditioning is not necessary because the house has the cooling of sea winds and of the Portuguese trade winds. The housekeeper manages the shutters to prevent direct sunlight from entering.
