Casa dos Limões is a cozy typical Alentejo house in the quaint village of São Luis in beautiful unspoilt Alentejo, on the edge of the Costa Vincentina nature reserve on the Atlantic coast of Portugal.
Perfect for a beach holiday, cycling, hiking, bird watching, kayaking and surfing.
It is located 10 km from the most beautiful beaches in Portugal and from the mouth of the Mira River.
Casa dos Limões is on the route of one of the many hiking trails in this area.

The house can accommodate 4 adults or a family of 5 people.
There are 2 spacious bedrooms, each with a large double bed and 1 bedroom with two single beds. The kitchen and utility room are fully equipped. There is a cosy living room with a fireplace and a dining room with a wood-burning stove.
The patio is sunny and very sheltered with also a dining table, lounge sofas and our pride the lemon tree.
Adjacent to the patio is the outdoor kitchen with a typical Portuguese BBQ.

The house is located 600m from the village centre, with cafes, retaurants, supermarket and market.
At 200m is Espacio Nativa, a cooperative with an organic shop, a café and a lunch place.

We are Joséphine and Saran, mother and daughter from Amsterdam. In September 2021, our dream, a house in Portugal, came true. Since then we have been renovating the house and, above all, enjoying it a lot. We are very proud of the result and would like to share it with others. We hope that this house and this place makes tenants as happy as it makes us.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.
