🌿 Peace, space and the outdoors – close to the beach and forest
This lovely cottage is located in a quiet place in Westenschouwen, on the edge of the largest forest in Zeeland and a 5-minute walk from the beach. The garden is sheltered, the surroundings quiet – a place where you can relax effortlessly. Many guests prefer to just sit on the terrace under the trees.
Inside, the cottage is attractively and neatly furnished, with an open kitchen, a cozy sitting area and a dining table. Everything is on one level, including a spacious double bedroom and a modern bathroom. Outside you have your own garden with sun loungers and plenty of privacy.
You can walk straight into the forest or through the dunes towards the sea. There are numerous walking and cycling routes in the area, for example through the Plan Tureluur nature reserve or along the Veerse Meer. You're also in the right place for a cultural trip: the Flood Museum and the impressive Storm Surge Barrier are a short drive away. Fancy some action? The nearby climbing forest is highly recommended.
This cottage is ideal for peace seekers, nature lovers and families (think of a family plus grandparents) who want to go on holiday together, but each appreciate their own place. Further down the yard – sheltered from this house – is another slightly larger house that can be rented separately.
