Prairiehouse Little Creek

Little Creek is located in the middle of nature on the Hogezoom, the old connecting road between Renesse and Burgh-Haamstede. The Hogezoom is a beautiful avenue surrounded by deciduous trees and offers a view of the nature reserves of Natura2000.

Renesse and Burgh-Haamstede are popular seaside resorts on Westerschouwen. Renesse has about 1500 inhabitants and Burgh-Haamstede about 4500. Along the Zeeland Coast there are miles of beaches for everyone. Quiet natural beaches at the Duinhoevepad, stretches of beach on the Brouwersdam where surfers have an Eldorado and also the busy tourist stretches of beach, especially in Renesse.

In the low season it is nowhere crowded on the beaches and you can enjoy long walks or beautiful horseback rides. The various dune paths and dune crossings are also well worth a visit.

Hikers, cyclists, runners and horse riders alike can enjoy beautiful marked routes in the woods in Westenschouwen.

You can also enjoy closer to home in the Gadrabos. Behind the Little Creek site are the Vroongronden where you can also enjoy walking and cycling.

In the Dominiale Bossen in Westenschouwen there is also a climbing forest for sports enthusiasts and children and in Nieuw-Haamstede the glider airfield is worth a visit. Surfers can also indulge themselves on the Grevelingen side of the Brouwersdam where a beautiful surf center is located.

Due to its many amenities and high number of hours of sunshine, Renesse is a popular holiday destination on the Dutch coast!
