The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

• cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
• cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
• Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
• cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property (anymore), he will continue to owe       the full rent

Cancellation due to force majeure

In case of force majeure such as fire, war, strike, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, etc., the landlord can cancel the rental without compensation. If the landlord is forced to cancel through no fault of its own, the tenant will receive a refund of the part of the rent already paid. In this case, the tenant waives further rights. None of the above modalities obliges the tenant to compensate any (other) costs and/or damage.
