It Bûthús is an attractive and fully furnished cottage with 2 bedrooms, a modern bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with 1 double bed and two single beds (can also be used as a double bed). The second bedroom still has room for a cot.

The fully equipped open kitchen offers everything for a joint breakfast, lunch and dinner with the whole family. The smart TV with Sonos soundbar and the free Wi-Fi provide entertainment for young and old.

The private terrace is not adjacent to the apartment, but across the street from the private driveway. The terrace offers plenty of shelter from the wind and has sun until the late hours.

Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen are included in the price.

We are Odette van der Lans (1972) and Paul Bol (1970) from Rotterdam and we have the pleasure of continuing Goudberg Apartments from June 2023.

Lex and Max are also present. Our two Labradors of 8 and 5 years old are real everyone's friends and trained to be used as therapy dogs. They will not be easy to find loose in the yard because of the adjacent road.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Cancellation

In case of cancellation, the following compensation will apply if we are unable to re-let the apartment:

more than three months before the effective date, 15% of the agreed price;
within three to two months before the effective date, 50% of the agreed price;
within two to one month before the effective date, 75% of the agreed price;
within one month before the effective date, 95% of the agreed price;
in case of cancellation on the day of the commencement date, 100% of the agreed price.

We advise you to take out cancellation insurance.

Payment

We kindly ask you to pay the deposit of 30% within 14 days after booking. We would like to receive the final payment of 70% no later than 30 days before arrival.

Linen

Bed linen, kitchen towels and towels are included in the price.

Exclusive

Final cleaning and tourist tax € 2.40 per person per night.

Location & area recommendations

Additional information

Goudberg Apartments has a large open area at the rear of the main building. Ideal for letting the children play before or after a visit to the island.

There are three swings and a seesaw for the little ones and two picnic benches. For the older children there is a large lawn for games. Various games can be borrowed such as cupping.

The car can be parked at the rear of our site. There is room for 1 car per apartment. Halfway down our driveway is a possibility to unload on arrival and load on departure.

In Midsland on the Hoofdweg is the only petrol station on Terschelling. Electric cars can be charged in various places.

Bicycles can be stored in our partly covered bicycle shed. Here is also an opportunity to charge your bicycle. Charging in the apartments is not allowed.

Bicycle theft hardly occurs on Terschelling, so your bicycle and your battery are safe.

An accident is in a small corner or doing laundry halfway through the holiday, it is just possible at Goudberg.

We wash the bed linen and towels ourselves and therefore the washing machines are not always available. Doing your own laundry is therefore only possible in consultation with Odette or Paul. The use of the washing machine costs 5 euros including laundry strip.

You can dry on our long clothesline, on a drying rack in your apartment or in bad weather in our dryer. The use of the dryer costs 8 euros.

Supermarket Plus Kapinga in Midsland delivers your groceries to the apartment for free. This way you will have groceries at home as soon as you arrive. It couldn't be easier! You can order via the Plus website and pay afterwards with a Tikkie.

To prevent waste as much as possible, we have a 'too good to go' refrigerator and dryer cabinet. This may be unpacked on arrival and products may be returned on departure.

Do you feel like barbecuing during your stay? You can! We have a regular barbecue to borrow and a Big Green Egg for rent for 25 euros including charcoal.

You can use your terrace or one of the picnic benches on the lawn.

For delicious bbq products you can go to Keurslager Schaafsma in West Terschelling. You can get the accompanying wine at Wijntje van Lied in Midsland Noord.
