Holiday home near LANDGOED ERVE DEN DAM in Goor in the Hof van Twente
HOLIDAY HOME IN A HISTORIC YARD
The holiday home at Erve Den Dam was built in 2011 in an old Twente barn from 1909, presumably the year the farm was built. The barn was renovated with many old building materials in order to remain in the style of the early century. The tiles and other materials left over in the house were reused and supplemented. From a historic farm in the area - Erve Ziethof Bee, located in Ambt Delden - demolished before the year 2000 , a fireplace was cut from a large Bentheimer stone foundation plinth . Doors from this farm were also reused. Straight through the apartment are the oak trusses that form the basis of the building.
TECHNOLOGY AND FACILITIES
The entire space - approximately 65 m2 and everything on the ground floor - was equipped with central heating with underfloor heating. In the fully equipped kitchen, in addition to a kettle, there is always coffee for the Senseo machine, div. types of tea and various herbs.
