In the hamlet of Tusveld, located in the Twente bocage landscape between Almelo and Borne, you will find holiday home 't Laankholt. This spacious and luxurious house is fully equipped for 6 adults and is located in the middle of a private forest of approx. 7,300 m². The forest plot has hiking trails and is fenced off all around. This allows you to enjoy optimal freedom and privacy.

The house

The ground floor has a surface of 100m², is tiled and equipped with underfloor heating. Behind the front door is the hall with wardrobe and staircase to the top. The hall gives access to the toilet and a storage room for your luggage. The bathroom with shower and sink also opens onto the hall.

From the hall you enter the living room with a large six-person dining table in the middle. The sitting area with comfortable leather sofa is located in the conservatory. Here is a door to the veranda with a view over the terrace and lawn. From the living room you have access to the luxuriously equipped open kitchen and the door to the basement.

The stairs to the upper floor lead to the landing that gives access to three bedrooms each sleeping 2 people. There is one large bedroom with sink with two interconnected box spring beds. A second bedroom has two single box spring beds that can be connected if desired. The third bedroom has two separate box spring beds.

Environment

From the house you have a view of the nature reserve "De Doorbraak". This stream with ecological connection zone is visited daily by nature lovers, cyclists, hikers and fly fishermen.

Various marked walking routes through the area start a hundred meters from the house. This also includes the adjacent Nijreesbos, which with more than 100 ha. is part of the estate Huize Almelo.

Holiday home 't Laankholt is also an ideal starting point for bike rides. From here, cycling tours can be made through Northwest Twente via the junction network or you can visit the nearby Twickel estate near Delden, which with almost 4,000 ha. is the largest contiguous estate in the Netherlands.

Within a radius of a few kilometers there is a jogging track, several rest areas and a restaurant where you can have a coffee or enjoy a meal.

We are Edward and Ulrike van den Belt and with our three children we are second generation owners of this special place in Twente. For more than forty-five years, our family had been a regular visitor here and the house was regularly rented out to holiday guests.
Recently the holiday home has been renovated and completely up to date and attractively decorated. We look forward to welcoming you to this wooded location and hope that you will enjoy the peace, space and nature.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Article 1 - Rent

The rental price includes:

a) Final cleaning

b) The use of gas, water and electricity on the basis of normal consumption. We ask you to use this sparingly

c) Use of the guest WiFi.

d) Bed linen and set of towels per guest.

(e) Kitchen textiles

f) Use of washing machine and dryer

The total price may include a booking fee charged by the service provider. These are listed separately on the invoice.

Article 2 - Accommodation in the holiday home

a) Unless otherwise agreed, you can use the holiday home from 15:00 on the day of arrival and on the day of departure you must have left the house before 11:00.

b) Pets are not allowed.

c) This is a fireworks-free house.

d) Parties or events are not allowed.

e) This holiday home is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.

f) Subletting or subletting is expressly prohibited.

g) Accommodation of more people in a holiday home than agreed on the reservation, or than the maximum applicable to the property is expressly not permitted without our permission, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Article 3 - Cancellation by tenant

Cancellation by the tenant must always be made in writing (by post or by e-mail). The following rules apply:

a) In case of cancellation up to 42 days before the day of arrival, 30% of the rent will be charged.

b) In case of cancellation up to 28 days before the day of arrival, 60% of the rent will be charged.

c) In case of cancellation less than 28 days before arrival, 90% of the rent will be charged.

d) If you have not arrived within 24 hours of the agreed date without further notice, this will be considered a cancellation and 100% of the rental price will be due.
