The area is also ideal for cycling and walking through the dunes and along the colourful flower fields. In the centre of Julianadorp you will find various shops, restaurants and eateries. For a day out, you can visit Callantsoog, the port city of Den Helder or the historic city of Alkmaar, where you can visit the famous cheese market. The ferry also departs from Den Helder to the Wadden Island of Texel.
