This is our sloop, equipped with a 6 HP Suzuki. Includes: bimini top, life jackets, fenders, lines, an anchor and two paddles. Feel free to ask for information in advance. Only for visitors to the holiday home and for max. 4 adults.
A different experience every day, we love this location and region. Take the sloop out and then moor for a drink or ice cream in Wijk en Aalburg. Sailing with our sloop: Feel free to ask for more information.
While the sun is setting, having a cozy barbecue on the jetty, the ultimate holiday feeling of freedom.
Grebes on the lake. Sometimes hundreds of water birds swim and fly, very special. The water villa is located in a unique location.
White and black swans. Recently a sea eagle passed by. These beautiful birds are in the Biesbosch, which is close to the holiday home.

From the Water Villa it is approximately 38 km to the Beekse Bergen. Fun for young and old, dream away with the animals and enjoy a snack.
Vismarkt in Heusden, always pleasant, less than 9 km from the Water Villa. The fortified town is definitely worth a visit. Nice little streets, a small inner harbor and a scary bridge ;-)
In the vicinity are several golf courses for relaxation and relaxation.
Different every night and you can dream away ;-) This guy caught a nice pike (and put it back right away). Water villa in the land of Heusden and Altena.
There is a lot of fish in the water at the Water Villa. Sometimes a school of hefty carp passes by, sometimes the small fish jump in the air trying to avoid a pike or zander.
During a walk you can be surprised by the most beautiful colors. The Water Villa offers it all. The walks in the area are fantastic. From the house you can see the various water birds AND recently even spotted a bald eagle. How beautiful is that!
The Efteling is about 21 km from the holiday home, enjoy the attractions and conviviality in summer and winter, a feast for young and old.
Perhaps even more special, the winter attractions and thousands of twinkling lights in the Winter Efteling!
The first frost on the grass of the Water Villa. Autumn or winter, always a pleasure to stay there, cosiness with wood stove and fireplace.

The guests write about their experiences and sometimes about what they have seen: There is always something to see on the water, one day a few hundred terns settle down, the next 150 coots and the next day a flock of geese. Beautiful! The fortified towns are also close by and worth a visit.

Garden room / Conservatory with a view over the Veense Plas / Afgedamde Maas. When you leave the lake you can choose whether you sail towards the Maas or the Waal. From the water villa you can go in all directions. HOLIDAY HOME on the water.

Nice complete kitchen with all necessary equipment, including a dishwasher and dishwasher tablets. There is also an oven/microwave, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. Something is already waiting for you in the kitchen: coffee capsules, tea bags, sugar, salt and pepper.

This 3rd bedroom is also located on the shady side and has a double bed with 2 mattresses of 80-200 cm. Each bed has 4 season duvet. The wardrobe has shelves and hanging space. Under the bed are storage drawers for clothes / small toys. A fan hangs on the wall.
Here you see the attractive and spacious toilet with sink and automatic extraction. It is a nice extra that the toilet is separate from the shower and you therefore have to worry less about whether it is available :-) 1 toilet roll is already available on arrival
Here you see the room with the electronic geyser and the washing machine. Here you can wash your laundry and possibly also the towels from the log cabin if you happen to be just a few short. (They are more than enough, though)
Here you see sanitary room with sink, furniture and a plastic tilting window. This sanitary room also has an automatic ventilation system. There are plenty of towels ready for you. If they have run out, you can safely wash them together with your own laundry.
Here you see the modern (hand) shower with the option of a rain shower. The thermostat tap allows you to easily choose your temperature. There is a tilt and turn window with duo roller blind. There is also automatic ventilation here
Here you see the front and side view of the log cabin. In the back left you can already see part of the attractive 2nd terrace at the rear of the log cabin.
Here you can see the cozy 2nd terrace where there are also several plants in large pots. This terrace has 4 bucket seats that are very comfortable without a cushion. There is also a table. If you happen to be with 6 people, you can add the 2 bucket seats from the veranda. There is also a charcoal BBQ here.

Here you can see the covered Veranda.There are 2 bucket chairs and a table. From the veranda you can already see the river Meuse. Smoking is allowed on the veranda and in the garden, Smoking is prohibited throughout the log cabin to keep it fresh and clean for everyone.
Here you can see the attractively lit log cabin when it is night. The solar and LED lighting is installed around the entire log cabin. You can actually sit comfortably anywhere. Under the veranda, in the front garden, on the 2-seater bench at the front or at the 2nd private terrace at the back.
Here you can see the veranda with atmospheric lighting. As you can see the porch is spacious. The rest of the garden also has beautiful LED lighting. And there is solar lighting on the outside of the log cabin.

Here you can see the setting sun on the Maas. The campsite is located on the Maas. If you have your own boat, you can launch it in the harbor. There are places in the harbor for both passers-by and regular guests. Always call reception in advance and make a reservation if possible.
