Welcome to Buitenhuisje IkiSchaijk – Where Peace, Nature and Meaning come together
Hidden in the green, on the edge of the De Maashorst nature reserve, you will find Buitenhuisje IkiSchaijk. A cosily furnished holiday home, perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle. Here everything revolves around slowing down, living outdoors and enjoying simplicity.
The space
Whether you come for a walk, bike ride or just relax with a book on the terrace – at IkiSchaijk the possibilities are diverse! Inside you can enjoy cozy comfort, outside you can enjoy forest sounds, birds and maybe even a curious squirrel.
What you can expect:
- Attractive and fully equipped cottage for 4 people
- Private terrace with a view of the greenery
- Direct access to walking and cycling routes
- Near Schaijk and nature reserve De Maashorst
It has a nice dining and living area with a round dining table for 4 people (+ baby chair available).
From the dining area you can walk straight into the garden through the patio doors. The garden has several terraces so you can enjoy the sun to the fullest. If you have your children with you, let them enjoy the swing, trampoline or (for the little ones) the slide. Or let them discover the 'secret' paths in the garden.
In the living room there is a nice sofa to relax, enjoy a book, lounge or stare outside..... Oh yes there is also a television ;-). You can stream via Chrome Cast and Apple TV and you can watch Netflix.
The various cabinets and chests in the living and dining room are filled with children's toys and books & magazines.
In the kitchen you will find an electric stove, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is a toaster, blender, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine (also cafetière) available.
There is a bedroom with a double bed. The other bedroom has two single beds (extendable) for children (can also be used by adults). A camping cot can be added. Other facilities for a toddler/baby are also available, such as a changing table and changing mat.
Through the hallway you have access to the bathroom (shower and washer/dryer) and separate toilet.
All windows can be opened for fresh air. Curtains are provided on all windows (mostly blackout in both bedrooms).
There is a shed available where you can store and/or charge your bicycle(s).
Other things to note
You can only enter and leave the park where this nice holiday home is located by car through a barrier with an access pass that you get at check-in.
There are various facilities at the park that you can use as a guest of our house. There is an outdoor swimming pool, playground, jeu de boules court (we have jeu de boules balls available) and bicycle rental.
We appreciate it if you treat our house as you would treat your own house :-).
