't Gulle Huis

If you want to relax in the nature and space of the Brabant border area, then 't Gulle Huis in the leafy outskirts of Budel is for you. As a couple or three, you temporarily have your own home, decorated in English country style. The spacious living room has a sitting area, reading area and
TV. The heating and the decorative fireplace also make it cozy in winter.
't Gulle Huis is a detached, romantic gîte, attractively decorated in English style.
The living room (45m2) offers plenty of space: there is a decorative fireplace, a cozy sitting/reading area with richly equipped bookcase, a dining area and a television corner. The open kitchen has a 4-burner induction hob, combi microwave, refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, etc.

The toilet is located in the spacious hall.

Upstairs you will find a spacious bedroom with a double bed (1.60 m) and the bathroom with sink and shower.
Through the patio doors of the living room, you enter your own terrace, where you can sit in the sun until late in the afternoon.
Our spacious park garden (6300 m2), behind the house, offers plenty of opportunity to sit in the sun or in the shade. In the garden there is a private area for guests with
picnic table and double hammock: the Medi garden.

Nature and surroundings

Our house is located in the countryside, but within walking distance of the center of Budel with all the shops you could wish for, excellent (takeaway) restaurants and eateries and of course the cozy market on Mondays.  
Do you want to stretch your legs? In the immediate vicinity you can choose from the many routes of the walking and cycling route network. Walk across the heath of the Soerendonks Goor, enjoy the views, wander through the Leenderbos.
Cycle to the picturesque Leenderstrijp, to the lively Thursday market of Valkenswaard, cycle to Domein De Bever (Belgium), drink a Trappist beer at the Achelse Kluis (Belgium) or visit Heeze, the Pearl of Brabant.
Drive to Neerpelt (Belgium) and paddle by canoe across the Dommel to the Venbergse Molen near Valkenswaard.
Eindhoven (20 km) has an underestimated international shopping center, a large multicultural weekly market on Saturdays, numerous restaurants and the Down Town Food Market, highly recommended.
Weert (12km) is a friendly Limburg town with excellent restaurants. 
Maastricht (50 km) needs no extra recommendation! You can stroll around for hours from one spot or terrace worth seeing to another.

Things else to look out for:
- 't Gulle Huis is contact-free.
- If you come with three, we will place a 1-person folding bed in the living room. We can also unfold the sofa bed (1.40 m), but that is at the expense of the television corner.
- 't Gulle Huis is not wheelchair accessible
- 't Gulle Huis is less suitable for children from 1 to 12 years old. There is a baby cot and a playpen.
- 't Gulle Huis is not suitable for pets.
- 't Gulle Huis is non-smoking.
- Washing machine and dryer – also to be used by guests – are in our own utility room.
