Overlooking a very spacious garden.
A very attractive living room.
The living room has a Spanish tiled floor with underfloor heating. There is also a spacious (sleeping) couch and a pellet stove (free pellets!).
A spacious bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and walls of clay plaster. In it a lovely box-spring with the very large sizes of 210 x 180.
The bedroom was originally a stable. In it the authentic joist that we have painted in ostentatious orange.
The bedroom opens into the kitchen through the connecting door. In addition to the bathroom, there is access to a separate toilet in the hall. The other room serves as storage space for your belongings (suitcases, etc.). There is also a washing machine available there.
From the terrace you can enjoy the peace and quiet. The large parasol is sometimes necessary, because the terrace faces south. Also in winter a nice sun in the living room.
A very spacious garden of 500 m2 with mature trees is what you are looking out on. In the back is the old pear tree with the owl box.
Almost Zen........ A lovely rippling water that trickles over the old millstones.

The bathroom has a Mediterranean atmosphere. A sink made from an old pine table in which a Mexican sink. Underfloor heating throughout under the beautiful Spanish tiles. Wall tiles with extra details and.........

In the living room there are 2 comfortable armchairs. Turn around and you look straight into the garden.

Our daughter has beautifully painted the kitchen unit with the owls as a theme.
A spacious kitchen connected to the living room and the bedroom.
To add more to biodiversity and hopefully also to allow more insects to pollinate the orchard, we have installed 50 m2 of green roof made of sedum mats. The many added rock plants will give a beautiful flowering effect.
We also placed sedum around the solar panels on the other roof (above the living room). Good for insulation in summer and winter, for promoting biodiversity and for cooling solar panels in summer for higher efficiency.
A very spacious and complete kitchen including a dishwasher, oven, drawer-fridge, freezer, microwave, espresso coffee machine and induction hob.
This radiator runs along with the underfloor heating. It is a very old cast iron radiator from a mansion in Antwerp.
You can also use a separate seating area next to the terrace. In the morning a breakfast with the sun. And if the wind blows too hard, you will still be sheltered.
An extra garden is available to you ....... the orchard with different types of fruit trees.
An electric barbecue is at your disposal.

This is the proud owner of the garden ........ a little owl. There are actually 2 and so far have a nest of 3 or 4 young owls every year. The coffin is managed by Brabants Landschap and every month in May the coffin is cleaned and the youngsters ringed.
While ringing you may occasionally hold 1. The photos are sent to us by the volunteer. What a beautiful bird!
In the bedroom a short impression of 3 photos with the little owl. These photos were taken by a professional nature photographer who has been in many magazines with various reports. So beautiful!
In the bedroom a nostalgic sidetable with a special lamp made by a friend on which a wooden gnome ('woodcarving').
With this picture you can see the ostentatiously painted support beam which has now become more of an ornament.
Moroccan lights on the night tables. Colorful and atmospheric.
In both the bedroom and the bathroom, the pivot windows work with accessories via a remote control.
A washing machine is at your disposal.
Also in the toilet a Mexican sink placed on a sink made of a pine table. Even the table leg has been used. The toilet bowl itself is 'rimless' allowing for better hygiene.
A storage space for 6 rolls of toilet paper is incorporated in the conversion. Handy and hygienic.
