Our nature house is a renovated farmhouse of more than 130 years old. It stands on a spacious plot of over 4500 m2. There is partly a meadow where sheep walk and the rest is garden with pond.
The house has a cozy kitchen that is fully equipped. There is a spacious sunny conservatory (with a view of the garden and the Maas) and adjoining terrace. The attractive room is spacious and equipped with a sofa bed. There is also toilet, bath and shower and three bedrooms.
The garden is also fun for children, there is a trampoline available - of course use at your own risk. In the garden shed there is a hottup with lounge set.
Sandwiched between a large forest area on the one hand the Maasduinen and on the other hand the meadows and the Maas. You cross the provincial road from the house and you walk via a path into the forest, here are many walking and mountain bike routes. Highly recommended is the walking route to Putjesbergen, or a visit to the lakes (including Reindersmeer). You really feel like you're abroad.
On the other side of the house you walk from the sandy path to the meadows with cows and the Maas in the summer. Here you then arrive at a road that is part of various walking and cycling routes. There is even a bicycle ferry that takes you across the Maas to explore the beautiful surroundings on the other bank.
There are all kinds of opportunities for water sports on the Leukermeer.
We offer the possibility to explore the Maas together with the owner/skipper (for a fee and depending on weather and availability). Fishing trips, quietly letting nature glide by or planing over the water is up to you.
