On the border of Groningen and Drenthe, on a creek 30 meters from the Paterswoldsemeer, lies our single-storey holiday home Neerwold. The house was built under architecture in 2019. Around the house is a large terrace with a lounge sofa, spacious dining area, relax chairs, parasols and a BBQ. The house itself is fully equipped: air conditioning (living room and master bedroom), wireless internet, TV with netflix and prime video, sonos, complete kitchen. Extra TV in the bedroom.
Everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Around the lake you can eat well in various restaurants with cozy terraces. There is also plenty to do in terms of sports, including water sports, swimming, walking and cycling. Within cycling distance of the beautiful city of Groningen, where you have a cozy city center. A visit to the goods market, the Groninger and museum and the forum is definitely worthwhile. And an hour's drive away you'll find the largest zoo in the north, Wildlands. The North Sea coast is also an hour's drive by car, the ferry to Schiermonnikenoog or eating fish in Lauwersoog. Our house is also adjacent to the Pieterpad, an excellent base for a long weekend. And a stone's throw from all the beautiful walking and cycling paths in Drenthe.
