In this colourfully refurbished holiday home you can spend the night on the outskirts of Voorthuizen, within walking distance of the Heuveltjesbos.

Enjoy the wood stove in the house and a session in the barrel sauna next to the holiday home.
This house has a spacious bedroom, a cozy living room and cozy kitchen. In the fenced garden you can use the BBQ and light a cozy fire in the fire bowl while lying back on one of the sunbeds.

From here you can walk or cycle straight into the Heuveltjesbos, if you have a car you can visit the Hoge Veluwe park, Het Loo Palace or the Apenheul.
Eating out is also possible in the center of Voorthuizen. Enjoy a snack and a drink from one of the restaurants or cafes on the Bunckmanplein.

Voorthuizen is known for its vibrant summers. During the tourist season there are various events to visit and experience, including Voorthuizen Straalt and flower parade Floralia every third Tuesday of September.

We, Aranka and Herman, are happy to let you enjoy the tranquility of the area. From April 2024, we will be happy to rent out the three holiday homes of Aan 't Heuveltjesbos. Each and every one of them houses that we have recently refurbished in our own style. The Bosuil exudes luxury, the Squirrel is colorful and cozy, the Schaapskooi is inspired by the nature of the Veluwe.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Sometimes you have to cancel your booking. Of course, we hope not. If you wish to cancel the booking for any reason, you must confirm this to us by email. Even if this has already been communicated by telephone.
The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.
