Our chalet is located in a small-scale and quiet park. From the park you can walk or cycle almost directly into the forests of the Veluwe. Walking and cycling routes are available in the chalet.
The chalet is located in the immediate vicinity of Putten. There are several supermarkets in Putten where you can go for your groceries. But there are also several nice and affordable restaurants where you can go for a meal.
Our chalet is attractively furnished and equipped with many conveniences. All the things you need for a pleasant stay are provided. In addition to free internet and TV, we also have some (board) games ready for you. There is also a shed where you can safely store your (electric) bicycles and possibly charge them.
Of course, the Veluwe with its vast forests and numerous walking and cycling routes is the biggest attraction in the region. From the chalet at Poolseweg 27 you can walk or cycle almost directly into nature. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the fresh forest air and the varied landscape.
A visit to the impressive Kootwijkerzand, one of the largest drifting sand areas in Europe, should certainly not be missed. Here you will also find the iconic Radio Kootwijk, a historic broadcasting building that was formerly used to maintain contact with the overseas colonies.
Also nice to visit is the Schovenhorst estate in Putten. Climb the forest tower here for a beautiful view over the Veluwe, Amersfoort and even the Flevopolder. And while you're in the area, stop by the Netherlands' center of gravity — a huge stone with a large ring that you can figuratively lift all of the Netherlands!
On warm days it is wonderful to stay at the Veluwemeer. Strand Nulde is about 20 minutes by bike from the chalet, and is of course also easily accessible by car (about 10 minutes drive).
In the nearby centre of Putten you will find a cosy mix of restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy a snack and drink. There are also plenty of places to eat in surrounding villages and towns.

Although there are no specific children's facilities on the site itself, children can enjoy themselves in the surrounding forests. In addition, there are plenty of fun outings in the area:
