Holiday home Casa Miro is located on the edge of the Veluwe. You can walk straight from our driveway into the bridge over the opposite woods! After a long walk or bike ride, you can relax in our jacuzzi or Finnish sauna.
PLEASE NOTE: from mid-December 2024 to June 2025, a new holiday home will be built on the adjacent plot. The plot is protected on the left by construction fences during this period. The jacuzzi, sauna and Tiny House are still exactly in the same place, so nothing will change in the facilities. Building can cause some noise nuisance (mainly during the week), we hope for your understanding.
Our holiday home is cosily furnished, you immediately feel welcome and at home. You enter the hall where you will find the wardrobe, washing machine and dryer. In addition, the spacious bedroom with luxurious double box spring where you can wake up wonderfully rested. The living room has a cozy sitting area, patio doors to the terrace and you look out on the great large garden. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped and in the adjacent conservatory you can read a book in the sun or wake up with a cup of coffee. The bathroom has a toilet, vanity unit and spacious walk-in shower. The second bedroom is in the garden, yes you read that right! In our spacious garden there is a Tiny House where you can spend the night.
Our garden is cozy and is very popular with birds, hedgehogs and squirrels. The jacuzzi is on the terrace behind the house, a Finnish Sauna in one corner of the garden and the Tiny House in the other corner. There are plenty of places to enjoy the sun and in the winter it is cozy at the Bad Boys stove / bbq, in short, enjoy both in the summer and winter months!
With more than four people? In the summer months, in consultation, it is allowed to camp in our garden. You can also book our other Holiday Home Mon Repos (4 persons): Please check the availability of both cottages.
There is plenty to do in the nearby village of Voorthuizen, Voorthuizen is also called 'The Gate of the Veluwe'. Walking and cycling routes are available at the VVV gypsy wagon and the Zeumeren recreation area (4km) is within cycling distance. In the summer you can enjoy swimming, water skiing and golfing here. The popular Griezeveense Klompenpad is also definitely worth walking and the great thing is that you can start it from Casa Miro. Plenty to do!
