Our house can accommodate up to 9 people, ideal for large families, two families and family or friends weekends. Our holiday home has 4 spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The spacious living room has a fireplace.
The simple kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with separate freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, Senseo and kettle.
The spacious south-facing terrace offers plenty of privacy and is equipped with a fixed (concrete) barbecue.
3 Bedrooms have two single beds; The 4th bedroom has a bunk bed and two single beds.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom (2x with bath and 2x with shower) with toilet and sink.

There is a good brasserie in the park and you can rent the tennis court. There is also a bowling alley at the park. Next to the main entrance is the deer park.
At the adjacent park 'Resort de Achterhoek' you can use the play and recreational lake.

Because of the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, our holiday homes are ideally suited for family weekends, groups of friends, 2 families or large families.

Gorssel is home to the largest museum of Modern Realism. Museum MORE is an initiative of Hans Melchers. The breathtaking building houses more than 200 works by leading Dutch realists from the past hundred years.
Stroll through the museum galleries and experience the works of great masters such as Carel Willink, Pyke Koch, Jan Mankes and Charley Toorop. In addition to the museum's own collection, there are constantly changing exhibitions that show the infinitely rich spectrum of realistic art.

A large part of the Carel Willink collection is housed in Museum MORE | Ruurlo Castle.

Museum More Gorssel (19 km) / Ruurlo Castle (12 km)

Come and get lost in Europe's largest hedge maze. It is a challenge for young and old to find their way to the watchtower. Along the way, you'll scream in front of the distorting mirrors and there's a word puzzle for sleuths.
Freule Sophie van Heeckeren had her wandering garden laid out in 1890. The Ruurlo maze once belonged to Ruurlo Castle and is one hectare in size and consists of 1,188 metres of paths.
Doolhof Ruurlo is open to the public from 1 April to 31 October.

In the rolling landscape between Lochem and Barchem lie the Lochemse Berg and the Kale Berg. The highest point of the Lochemse berg is 35 meters higher than the surrounding area. It definitely invites you to go for a walk. The landscape is varied with robust Scots pine trees and beeches and offers beautiful views.
Start and end point is the parking lot on the Lochemseweg, next to Boutique Hotel BonAparte.
At the highest point of the Lochemse Berg is the Belvedere, a stone lookout tower from 1893. Belvedere means 'beautiful view'. However, the tower is no longer in use: the tall trees obstruct the view.

The mountain bike route Grote Veld goes over beautiful challenging single tracks and wide sandy paths through the wooded nature between Vorden and Lochem. The route is about 30 km long and can be combined with some nearby routes to your heart's content.
The route runs along the entrance of the park, is of medium difficulty and runs over land belonging to different owners. The route passes through the Natuurmonumenten areas Grote Veld and 't Walien, among others.

With 18 holes and a par of 72, this course is beautifully adapted to the natural environment of the Achterhoek scenic landscape. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and are maintained with care. For men, the track stretches over a total length of 6,001 meters, while women can enjoy a course of 5,231 meters. During your round of golf, you will be confronted with challenging water features, various doglegs, narrow fairways and surprising course changes, making it a true and wonderful challenge.
