Holiday home near Laurijs! This attractive and cozy holiday home is located in the middle of the Achterhoek, between Groenlo and Winterswijk, and close to the Korenburgerveen nature reserve. The spacious house is sandwiched between two old oak trees, detached and has a beautiful unobstructed view with lots of privacy. Come and relax and live like a god in the Achterhoek. For example, relax in the hanging chairs, hammock or relax by the wood stove with a glass of wine or cold Grolsch. Through the patio doors you can walk straight into your terrace on your own garden; With garden table, fire pit, pizza oven, outdoor bath and, on request, with hot tub and spacious Finnish outdoor sauna with a view. The other facilities complete the holiday feeling: Swimming pool (May holiday - mid-September), jeu de boules court, outdoor kitchen, swing, trampoline and plenty of space. On arrival, the beds are made, towels are provided and, although there is a dishwasher, tea towels are provided. For our youngest guests we provide a baby cot, baby chair and bath. The house is attractively furnished and the open kitchen is fully equipped. The spacious bathroom has a sink, toilet and walk-in rain shower. In addition to the 2 bedrooms, there is a sleeping loft; Due to the stepladder, it is not suitable for small children. In the indoor storage room you can play darts, shuffleboard and play with games and toys. Through the stable windows you look out over the bocage landscape with bats, deer, foxes and owls! Pets are welcome in consultation. A vintage tandem is ready for you for free !
At the end of the street, the peat begins. The vast Korenburgerveen is located in an area where you can wander through a historic farm landscape with beautiful forests, streams, heath and raised moors. Cranes even bred here last spring. From the nature house you can cycle on the free tandem through the peat to the cozy Winterswijk. Other nice places within cycling distance: Groenlo, Lichtenvoorde, Aalten and book city Bredevoort. Within car distance: Zutphen, Doetinchem, Enschede and of course Arnhem. Even more beautiful nature in the area can be found at the quarry near Winterswijk, where sometimes an eagle owl breeds, recreation area Het Hilgelo (nice swimming) and at the Leemputten; Here you can also enjoy pedal boats and an old-fashioned fun playground.
