Would you like to really relax, have breakfast with the deer in the backyard and the rabbits and hares at the edge of the forest, drink a good glass of wine in the evening while the silence is broken only by singing birds?

That is possible in our luxury six-person holiday home Bungalow Motief between Gorssel and Harfsen, municipality of Lochem, near the Gorsselse Heide in the Gelderse Achterhoek.
Because the house is located on 800 m2 of land, privacy is guaranteed. A true paradise for hikers, cyclists and peace seekers. The bungalow can be rented all year round. You can also rent comfortable bicycles and buy the newspaper. In the shed there are already 2 somewhat older bicycles to use for free.
You will not find a tropical wave pool with cuddly wall, disco and more of that entertainment.
The house has recently been renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, new bathroom, parquet, 2nd toilet on the first floor and a large dormer window over the entire length to save space.

Our luxurious six-person holiday home Bungalow Motief is completely and cosily furnished and is centrally heated. On the ground floor are the entrance, bathroom with sink, spacious shower and toilet, double bedroom, living room with semi-open luxury kitchen. A staircase leads to the first floor with a 2nd toilet and two double bedrooms, one of which has a balcony.

Of course there is TV and a radio/CD player. In addition, there is a combination microwave/convection oven/steam oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine for your comfort.
Wifi is available.
The bedrooms are each equipped with two single box spring beds with duvets of 0.8 x 2 meters. A cot and high chair are provided. Bed linen, kitchen linen and bath linen can be rented from the manager. You can bring one pet.

Our holiday home is located on 800 m2 of private land. There are two terraces, a shed, an indoor storage room and private parking for one car. From the living room you can look straight into the forest with walking paths, a toad pond and benches. The Gorsselse Heide is a 5-minute walk away.
Woods, heaths and sandy roads, interspersed with beautiful views. That is the beautiful surroundings of Gorssel in Gelderland. You can cycle and walk as much as you want. Several beautiful routes have been mapped out from Motief onwards.

Bungalow Motief is located in the middle of the forest, a few kilometers from the IJssel. The park has a reception and you can rent (electric) bicycles. There is plenty of room for children to play.

From holiday home Bungalow Motief you can go in all directions.
The beautiful surroundings are ideal for making trips. To the Holterberg , for example, or the Veluwe, through the IJssel valley or past the numerous castles in the Achterhoek. At Gorssel there is a bicycle ferry with which you can cross the IJssel. And at the swimming pool of Almen, canoes and pedal boats are rented for a trip on the Berkel. Golf courses are located at Lochem and Zelhem.

Do you want to go shopping or go out? Cities such as Deventer and Zutphen are just a stone's throw away. Apeldoorn is not far either. There is the Apenheul with its monkey colonies. Fun for young and old! Het Loo Palace can also be visited, followed by the possibility of participating in a game hunt through the Crown Estates.

Visiting nice towns? Then you should take a look at Lochem, or in Vorden with its eight castles. Bronkhorst, the smallest town in the Netherlands, is also worth a visit. Zutphen and Deventer are old Hanseatic cities, with city walls, many monuments and courtyards. City walks are regularly organized. Deventer is home to the toy museum and the historical museum De Waag. Zutphen also has several museums. And if you like action, the Hellendoorn adventure park is less than 30 km from Motief. In Deventer you will also find De Scheg, a sports palace for tennis, indoor golf, ice rink and wave pool. And what about the recently opened MORE museum in Gorssel and a 2nd branch in Ruurlo Castle?
In short, all the peace and quiet in the park itself, but plenty of entertainment in the area.
