About the cottage
The cottage is a 6-person cottage with the bathroom and a double bedroom on the ground floor and 2 double bedrooms on the 1st floor. It is equipped with all comforts. The large garden of 800m2 is an oasis of calm and you can walk into the woods.
About the environment
The beautiful surroundings of Gelderland Gorssel. Here you can cycle and walk as much as you want. From the park Calluna many beautiful routes are available along woodland, heaths and sand roads. The landscape is punctuated by beautiful views. The park Calluna is located in the forest, some kilometers of the IJssel. The park has a reception area, a playground and table tennis. For children there is plenty of room to play. From Calluna you can go many directions. The wonderful surroundings are very much suitable to make cycling trips. For example to the Holterberg, the Veluwe, the IJssel Valley or along the many castles that stand in the Achterhoek. In Gorssel is a bicycle ferry that allows you to cross the river IJssel. And at the pool of Almen canoes and pedal boats can be rented for trips on the Berkel.
Want to go shopping or go out? Cities like Deventer and Zutphen are within biking distance, but Apeldoorn is not far also. There you will find the Apenheul with his monkey colonies. Fun for the kids! Also in Apeldoorn palace Het Loo is worth a visit, followed by the opportunity to participate in a wild quest by the Crown Estates. Visit more nice towns? Then you should take a look in Lochem, or in Vorden with its eight castles. Bring a visit to The Vineyard Zessprong for a tasting or a tour. Or visit the museum for contemporary realism in Gorssel, the pond garden, The Keihave or take a ride with the trekkertram.
