Relax in the heart of the Veluwe, in our 5-person chalet, with swimming pool in the park. It is wonderful to stay around and in Epe, beautifully landscaped cycle paths and walking routes make this location an unforgettable holiday.
The chalet is furnished with most things that you would also take out of the drawer at home, such as corkscrew, lighter, coasters, in addition, the kitchen is also well equipped so that you do not quickly miss out.
The terrace is spacious and there is a small piece of grass for sun worshipers (bringing a cow is not necessary, it will not survive!)
The garden house has space to store your own bicycles (the garden furniture is then on the terrace). An electric bicycle can also be charged here. For people with walking difficulties has been thought of, there are no steps and the thresholds are just as high as at home.
The beds are spacious for a chalet. All beds are 210cm long.
One bedroom has two box springs 80 x 210 cm that can also be pushed together, creating a very spacious sleeping area. Above is a loft bed of 80 x 210 cm, which can be reached via a steel staircase when the box springs are apart!
In the other bedroom there is a modern bed 140 x 210cm where you can get in from both sides.
For hygiene, the mattresses have an extra washable incontinence cover. It is not intended to use this cover as a sheet.
The easiest (and most hygienic) is to bring your own sheet / pillowcase and duvet or sleeping bag.
We do not charge cleaning costs, we assume that people leave the chalet neat and clean after their stay. The major cleaning, by you, is not necessary, but that the microwave, dishes, toilet, waste bin and floors etc. are clean again is a requirement. To date, almost everyone has left things tidy again. Because there is nothing more annoying to have to wash up and clean the chalet after a long drive and unpacking the suitcases. So if you find a gang, report it immediately. So that we can hold your predecessors to account.
We are used to renting out our chalet in good faith, and so far this has not been ashamed. If the agreed amount has been transferred, you will receive a key code from me (in the week before the start of your holiday) for the key of the chalet. The key is in a locker attached to the gazebo.
The idea is that you will use one of the two keys that are in the locker. The second is as a spare if the key is accidentally lost.
On departure you must put the used key back in the locker (for the next tenants)
If, for example, there is still coffee powder, sugar or tea bags in the kitchen, you can simply use them, so you do not have to throw away the last sugar yourself.
We try to replace things that are worn or broken every year, but you will understand that not everything can be tackled equally, so if something is broken (or less), please understand.
I hope that this letter has given you an impression of how we maintain and rent out our chalet.
We wish you a nice holiday,
Sincerely,
Family Nijkamp
