Six-person holiday home in the woods
The Toucan is a wooden forest house and can accommodate up to six people. Of course, you can also stay here alone or as a couple. The veranda is a great place to relax and you can relax on the lounge set. In the summer you can enjoy a walk in the woods or bike ride. In winter, you can drink a delicious hot chocolate here or enjoy a hot mulled wine.
Pavilion
Did you bring or rent bicycles? In the garden house you can store them safely under lock and key.
Heating, internet and television
The whole house is heated by central heating. This way you can not only stretch out on the couch in the living room to read a book, it is also doable to retreat to the bedroom with that book. The internet connection goes through the fiber optic and is super fast. More than 70 channels, including all the usual Dutch channels, can be received on the television in the living room.
The kitchen
The kitchen has a four-zone induction hob and a dishwasher. You can either make filter coffee with the coffee machine or choose to use the Senseo machine. The fridge has a built-in freezer compartment. A set of kitchen linen is included with us.
The bedrooms
On the ground floor is a bedroom with a double bed. This is useful if you are not very mobile. In this bedroom there is a closet with shelves and a closet with a hanging area and shelves. The bedside and reading lamps make it easy to read a book in bed and you can easily charge your phone, tablet or e-reader via the built-in USB charger. Via the completely renovated staircase (February 2022) you reach the first floor where there are two spacious bedrooms. One room has a double bed and a spacious wardrobe. The other bedroom has two single beds and a small closet.
All beds are equipped with single mattresses of 90x200. The duvets are standard single sizes of 140x200. The double beds also fit a fitted sheet of 180x200. Please note, we do not rent bed and bath linen.
The sanitary facilities
The toilet (renovated in February 2024) is a separate room and this, like the bathroom, is on the ground floor. The bathroom has been completely renovated and expanded (February 2022). This way you have plenty of space to shower in the walk-in shower, which is equipped with a hand shower and a rain shower, among other things. The double sink has two deep drawers in which you can store your belongings. The bathroom stays nice and warm thanks to the towel radiator. Please note, we do not rent bed and bath linen.
Park
You can park your car in the private parking lot next to De Toekan. It is a spacious parking lot for one car. With good parking, two cars can fit on it. There is also a general parking lot on the property where visitors can park their car.
Area information
You are in the middle of the woods next to Kroondomein het Loo and the heath is a 10-minute walk away (through the forest). There are also plenty of fun outings where you can go.

Check-in and check-out
On the day of arrival you are welcome from 15:00. On the day of departure, we ask you to leave De Toekan by 10:00 am at the latest.
The changeover days are on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise offered in a package).

Pets are not allowed in De Toekan or in the garden of De Toekan.
