Welcome to our attractive forest house, a place where you can completely disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle and embrace the beauty of nature. This comfortable and spacious house of no less than 80m² is located on our fully fenced plot, in the middle of the soothing greenery of the Veluwe and with all the privacy you could wish for. Upon arrival, you can drive through the remote-controlled gate and park your car directly at the house, so that your holiday feeling can start right away.
The house is an oasis of peace and comfort. The space consists of two cozy bedrooms, each furnished to ensure a good night's sleep. There is a modern bathroom with shower and toilet and there is also a separate toilet, ideal for extra comfort. The heart of the house is the spacious living room with a bar and kitchen. Here you can cook, play games and spend long evenings. The glass front in the living room provides plenty of light and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding nature.
Outside you will find even more places to enjoy. Our forest house is surrounded by no less than three terraces, so there is always a place in the sun or shade. Whether you're having breakfast in the morning sun, reading a book under the trees, or enjoying an evening glass of wine as the sun goes down, the choice is yours. Because we also live on the plot ourselves, we are always nearby for questions or tips, should you need them.
The location of our forest cottage is the perfect base for nature lovers and adventurers. As soon as you walk out of the gate, you literally step into the unspoiled nature of the Veluwe. The most beautiful walking and cycling routes are right around the corner. Getting lost is not an issue, because the routes are fully signposted. An absolute must for cyclists is the trip through the Loenermark to the Posbank in Rheden, one of the most impressive nature reserves in our country. The view from the Posbank is truly breathtaking, especially in the heyday of the heather. A unique feature of the area is the Loenense Waterfall, the highest in the Netherlands. This is only a 12 minute walk from our cottage, a perfect destination for a short and refreshing walk. Of course, a visit to our national park De Hoge Veluwe should not be missing from the agenda.
There is also more than enough to do for families with children. The little ones can burn off their energy in a playground just 400 meters away. In the immediate vicinity you will also find a petting zoo and several swimming pools 3 and 9 km away. If you want to go out for a day, our forest house is perfectly central for various trips. Within a short travel time, you can reach well-known attractions such as De Apenheul, Koningin Julianatoren, and Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn. Or how about a visit to Burger's Zoo or the Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem? For those looking for complete relaxation, Thermen Bussloo and De Veluwse Bron are also nearby.
