Terms & Conditions Holiday Home Swaelvlei - Version: May 2025

1. Reservation and payment

1.1. Minimum age of the main booker 25 years.

1.2. A reservation is final after the tenant has received written or digital confirmation of

Holiday home Swaelvlei.

1.3. Within 7 days after receipt of the confirmation, 30% of the total rent must be paid as

deposit must be paid. The remaining amount must be paid no later than 6 weeks before

arrival to be paid.

1.4. For bookings made within 6 weeks before arrival, the full rent must be paid immediately.

2. Cancellation

2.1. Cancellations must be made in writing or by e-mail to Holiday Home Swaelvlei

2.2. In the event of cancellation, the following costs are due:

• Up to 8 weeks before arrival: 30% of the rent

• 8 to 4 weeks before arrival: 60% of the rent

• Within 4 weeks before arrival: 100% of the rent

2.3. It is recommended to take out cancellation insurance.

3. Arrival and departure

3.1. Check-in is possible on the day of arrival between 16:00 and 20:00. After 20.00 hrs

only contactless check-in is possible.

3.2. Check-out must take place before 10:00 on the day of departure.

3.3. Deviations from these times are only possible after consultation and written confirmation.

4. Use of the holiday home

4.1. The holiday home is exclusively intended for recreational use by a maximum of 4

persons (excluding a baby).

4.2. It is not allowed to camp on the site or to allow extra guests to stay overnight

without permission.

4.3. It is not permitted to set off fireworks at the holiday home.

4.4. Smoking is not permitted in the holiday home.

5. Damage and deposit

5.1. The tenant is liable for damage to the holiday home, the inventory and the

plot, caused during the stay by himself, his fellow travellers or his pet.

5.2. Any damage must be reported immediately to the contact person.

5.3. A deposit of €150 is required when booking. Deposit will be refunded within a week.
