What was once the barn of d'Oude Herbergh has been transformed into a cute wooden house for 4 people; 't Oppertje. It doesn't seem big, but because the bedrooms are upstairs, there is enough space downstairs for the living room with open kitchen, the bathroom with bath and a separate toilet. With a terrace at the garden doors on the west and wooden decking terrace on the waterfront with lounge sets, we offer wonderful seating areas for barbecuing or resting. A delight for the water sports enthusiast, fisherman or peace seeker.

The (own or rental) boat can be moored right next to the house. There are 2 double canoes on the property for the general use of our guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and oven and 3 different coffee makers. There is also a washing machine. Upstairs, the rooms are equipped with lovely hotel beds, one room with a double bed of 160x200 cm and the other with 2 single beds. The car can be parked at the house and bicycles can be parked in our garage and possibly charged. There is a Smart TV, and Wifi.

Because the house is equipped with underfloor heating, it can be rented all year round. N.B. From October 1 to April 1, it is only rented per month with a minimum of 2 months.

Fun fact; the term 't Oppertje comes from inland shipping; a Oppertje is a sheltered spot in the lee to moor the ship for the night.

We, Annelies Rutgers and Gertjan Tissink, have been running d'Oude Herbergh since 2008 with great pleasure. This is exactly how we imagined a beautiful water sports company in a characteristic building with a rich history. Once upon a time, the cows were stabled here in the farm, but since 1970 it has been a well-known holiday address, from a famous sailing school to a popular restaurant with accommodation. Guests from the past regularly come by to reminisce.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Cancellation policy; If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

In case of cancellation less than two months before the rental date, 50% of the rental amount will be charged. In case of cancellation less than 1 month before the rental date, 75% of the rental amount will be charged. In case of cancellation within two weeks before the rental date, the full rental amount is due. We therefore recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

The house can be rented for longer periods in the winter months.
