In the middle of nature reserve 'De Kiekenberg' in Oudehorne (Southeast Friesland) you will see deer and fallow deer passing by every day and you can choose from several walking routes in this beautiful part of Friesland. Moreover, a stone's throw away you will find beautiful nature reserves such as the 'Delleboersterheide' stream valley or 'Oranjewoud Park Landscape' where you can admire beautiful centuries-old country houses and parks. The characterful village of Beetsterzwaag with its historic buildings and ancient forests is also well worth a visit 15 minutes by car.
The house has been completely renovated and refurbished in recent years, so it is fully equipped. There is a spacious bedroom downstairs and two smaller bedrooms upstairs. A second toilet has been realized in the hall. There is a bathroom on the ground floor with toilet, bath and shower. From an easy chair in the room you have a view of a forest with a heath in it. This holiday home is located on a spacious plot, with lots of privacy, which consists of two lawns and richly filled borders with trees, shrubs and flowers. There is also a canopy (gazebo) with garden furniture which offers the opportunity for lunch or dinner outside. Outdoor barbecuing is of course also possible. At the front and side of the house there is opportunity to park at least 2 cars. In the immediate vicinity there are opportunities to charge electric cars and rent bicycles. In the village of Nieuwehorne (5 minutes) there is a small shopping center, including supermarket and lunchroom. Both Heerenveen and the nearby village of Gorredijk have an (open-air) swimming pool + sports centre.
